How I miss Meatheads. This place has become over-priced for what it is and the quality of the food. I ordered at the drive in with a girl who wasn’t all that pleasant and barely smiled at the window. Then, a man comes to hand me my $60 bag of four burgers and fries and doesn’t say a word, just sticks his hand out of the window, grumpily gives me my bag, and closes it up. Then we get home and it’s missing a bag of fries, the burgers are really overdone and lifeless, and two of the hamburgers are missing pickles, which I specifically asked for. Second time we have tried it and been very underwhelmed.

Disappointing to wait 20 minutes for a cold burger and fries. Fortunately, they were willing to remake it so the service made up for the average burger. I prefer burgers hot off the grill.

I really like burgers and the burger here is one of the best I've ever had, and when I forgot to order fries and was about to reorder, our foods were already delivered to the table and the manager gave us free fries because food was getting cold. This little service made my wife and I feel so good. Thanks,

Overall: just okay. Nice that kid's meals come with juice and apple sauce. Burgers just so-so, not juicy or very flavorful. Kid's burger parties are puny. See picture. The bun is twice the size of the presumably 2 ounce patty. Fries are way too salty to eat. One large is more than enough for a family of four. Front staff was super friendly and patient.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are comfortable here. Clean, welcoming.

We came after soccer and we're hungry. The kids got burgers and wanted pickles on them. She said she didn't have a button for pickles. I said ok can we have a side of pickles?? She said we'll, if you order a burger you can give them your pickles.... What if I want my pickles?? Then the kids burgers were extremely small. I asked if that was normal it didn't even fill have the bun. The tables were also all really dirty. I ask for a ran and she grabbed a dirty rag off the ledge and wiped the tables off. It wasn't even sitting in the red sanitizer bucket ??

I hate to say it, but the burger was OK at best. Nothing stands out about it and it's not something I'll seek out in the future. The bar is high - there's plenty of awesome burger joints in spitting distance. I'm hard pressed to find any component of my experience that deserves praise, apart from a generous heap of fries.
I won't go so far as to say my experience was bad or that the food was not edible. It just isn't special and doesn't justify the price to eat out.

Burger was O.K. Nothing special. It was kinda cold when I got it. Fries were good, nice and crispy. Over all I rather have a Texas whopper from BK over this burger any day. $17 bucks for a burger after taxes. Not worth it for me.

Cowboy burger was great! Nice little spot I don’t frequent but I’ll be sure to stop in again when I’m the neighborhood. Cajun fries a little overdone with seasoning for my liking

During a busy day yesterday, I found myself absolutely famished but in need of something quick to eat. Amongst the usuals, I noticed Epic Burger and thought I'd take a chance.
When I came in, I took a moment to figure out the menu and Kiara was super helpful in assisting me, making ordering quick and easy. I sat down at a super clean booth and within 5 minutes or so, Kiara kindly delivered what I could only describe as a gourmet burger in front of me.
Here's the typical issue for me. I can't eat bread and burgers are something I can eat but it can be complicated. Another well-known burger place will wrap it in lettuce, but it is absolutely messy. At Epic Burger in Barrington, my burger came out looking like I was at a 5-star restaurant. I'll do my best to explain (I would've taken a photo but I was so hungry and my mouth was faster than my mind so my hands picked up the fork and knife before they picked up my phone to take a photo)
The condiments (pickles, tomatoes, onions, cheese) were sandwiched between two patties and topped with avocado with mayonnaise neatly drizzled on top. Not only was this visually appealing, it made it incredibly easy to eat with a fork and knife as the patties held everything together, making it simple to cut everything ... it was almost like a burger with the patties as the buns lol
On top of all of this, it tasted amazing. The patties weren't overly thick, but they weren't thin either. They were cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were fresh. The option to add fresh avocado was an unexpected surprise and totally made the burger.
Kiara checked bravely checked in on me as I was devouring said burger and I thanked her for the amazing food and wonderful service. She noted the chef, who threw a thumbs up over the half-wall.
So for what was a quick stop-in to sate hunger turned out to be an uplifting experience! Epic Burger should take note from this location! 10/10

Replacing Meatheads, Epic Burger has come to Barrington. We both ordered the cowboy burger with one adding jalapeños as well as Cajun fries. The burger was greasy with the bun cold and the burger with jalapeños added was just canned jalapeños which are not fresh and did not taste good. The Cajun fries where over salted and had an aftertaste that was not appealing. While not comparing in price to meat heads, the quality of the food at this establishment is sorely lacking. Needless to say, we where disappointed.

Food was good as always at Epic. We have been a loyal customer in Chicago locations. It was our first time trying Barrington our new home location. The service was so bad. The guy at the registere had a very weird attitude. I asked if the menu was same as other locations because menu looked differently laid out. He said he wouldn’t know because this is the only Epic Burger he has ever seen with a snobby attitude. We got orders and trying to enjoy our food they came rotating 5 times to check on us if everything was ok. It was way too much I had to tell them to stop.
The vibes at this place wasn’t epic at all which was very disappointing because this is literally one of our favorite places serve halal burgers.

Food was fresh and the places was clean, two things that seemed to not always be the case as most places. Staff was friendly. Will be back!

A great hidden gem if you’re near downtown Barrington. The food is great - freshly made, with high quality ingredients (nothing artificial). The place itself is very clean and the staff is super friendly. We will definitely be back!
