Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.

Have not been there nor will I go. Based on menu, single cheese burger, small fry and small drink about $20.00 with tax I'm a senior and can get a nice dinner out for that.

Maybe it was my fault for ordering wings from a place called happy happy burger, but the chicken was definitely not happy. Sauce was extremely bland, and wings were totally overcooked. Had maybe 3 pieces before throwing the rest out.
The only thing that saved this from a 1 star review were the happy fries. Definitely good stuff, but good reviews don't come from fries.
Buddy had a burger, said it wasn't juicy. (Maybe this place hates liquid? Idk.)

the burgers were totally unseasoned and tasted like it was a poor quality frozen patty. Way over priced. 3 people all got burgers and fries and it was $20/person. Had high hopes it would be better than the previous restaurant in the location but honestly my whole family thought it was worse....

Come here often. The food is delicious and the service is like sudo sit down once you order. They bring it out and make any accommodations you need. Love it! They have tacos, salads, specialty home fries and specialty burgers. I get the "Fuego" and their habanero sauce is Hella spicy but super delicious. Give them a go! Oh and they have a cute table in the corner with a "happy burger" lighted sign... great Insta shot!

I'm a ghost gal, and have eaten many hotdogs. Stopped here and had a great chgo dog.andcthe fries were my fav and cooked for my order...not sitting in a fryer all day. Pleasant friendly service and bright and decorated happy. Good luck guys. Will be back
