We met our friends at Morretti's in Barrington to see Dan Peters, a guitarist. Made reservations to secure seats near where he would be playing. We got there a little early to have dinner. Three of us had the steak and potato with salad Thursday special while my wife had the pork schnitzel and potato pancake Oktoberfest special. We all enjoyed our meals and drinks. Our server, Sandra, was terrific. I always like to see the dessert menu even though I was stuffed. She let us...

The food was wonderful. Tasted great and came out hot. The waiter wasn't as good as the food. The music wasn't very good but the sound wasn't overpowering, so we didn't really mind it. Overall, one waiter, one time, won't come close to stopping us from returning.
