This is a perfect date place. The drinks are reasonable, the service is outstanding, there's always a smile at the front door, and we really have enjoyed the several times that we've been there throughout this past summer. Strongly recommended for an a place known for a great food at a reasonable price in Barrington. A++.

We enjoyed our first visit to NeoTeca on a last minute date night! We were a little disappointed that the first 2 appetizers we were hoping to try were not available due to a menu change, but still present on the menu. We opted for the pasta special which as homemade cavatelli. The sauce was amazing, but the cavatelli was firm and chewy...not at all what we were hoping for. We also shared a pizza with a GF crust, which was fine, but would have been amazing if it was their normal crust! Lots of interesting pizza choices for sure and we will definitely return!

Went to Neoteca Barrington for dinner. The truffle fries were soggy, greasy, and stuck together—not once, but twice. I complained, yet management still left the $11 charge on the bill, which is unacceptable. The only saving grace was our kind server and decent pizza. Otherwise, this was a very disappointing experience.
This place is located in the heart of Barrington right near the Barrington high school. Pizza type you want to go for is Neapolitan. The aroma of the place makes you feel as if the food will be great, but it was subpar.
Pros: The aroma is really classy and elegant where you can enjoy great wine if you come to chill with your friends or significant other. The fries and pull out garlic bread was the only highlight of the dinner as the marinara sauce for the garlic bread pulled in most of the flavor.
Cons. It took forever for the food actually come out. The pizza we ordered was the margarita and the flavor was not even there. It was completely bland. There was more flavor on the side of marinara than there was on the actual pizza. The sauce makes out 90% of the flavor of a pizza and should not be overpowered by cheese or crust in which case this was absolutely terribly done. I will not be coming back for pizza here maybe for the wine

Neoteca is such a cute spot in Barrington! Love the outdoor seating and ambiance! My husband and I split the pesto gnocchi with crumbled sausage, our kids split a cheese pizza and we got the truffle fries to share! The truffle fries and the dipping sauce were delicious! The gnocchi was so good, just wish we had a little bit more sausage! And pizza was good - the cheese just slid off very easily but otherwise delicious!

We had a very nice experience at Neoteca. Our server was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had a pizza which he loved and I had the mushroom ravioli which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was amazing, our server Nathan was incredible and overall we had an amazing time. This is our third time celebrating our anniversary here and this was probably our most enjoyable. But everytime we have come it has been enjoyable. We will continue to come back and recommending how wonderful Neoteca is.

We love that neoteca is on open table now, have been coming there for a few years and love the pizza and now it's easier! Service was great, we actually asked to switch tables due to the darkness at the back of the restaurant and they were very accommodating and nice about it. We kept our server - very good server ! - and had a great experience !
