The atmosphere was great, however, the music was so loud and distorted we decided to go elsewhere. This is very unfortunate because the music in a piano bar should never drive people away, and we weren't the only ones.

I've been to Shirley's a few times, and honestly it can be very fun but other times their piano players can only do Tom Petty or Jimmy Buffett... no range or willingness. Some of them don't even know the words. The piano players also sometimes drink too much on the job and you can tell. The bartenders were good but a bit slow. Overall, get piano players with range.
