Great spot for sushi tucked away in this shopping center. Went here with my family for dinner. Ordered four sushi rolls and we enjoyed all of them. The spicy tuna crunch was especially good, with the fried rice adding great texture to the dish. The restaurant was nicely decorated and upscale. They were well staffed and service was exceptional. All in all a great experience, thank you!

Horrible place. I have delivered from here 10 times. and always waited 30 minutes. Avoid this restaurant.

This is a must try Sushi Restaurant in Deer Park. We told the owner/ manager that we liked tuna and salmon and she helped us pick a number of appetizers, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. All of the fish was extremely fresh and the Toro melted in our mouths. They also have a few rooms if you're celebrating a special occasion. Will definitely be back soon!

What happened to this place? It used to be one of my favorite restaurants and it’s nothing like it used to be. I moved away so perhaps it was sold? They no longer serve the delicious white sangria they used to have. I always have sashimi and it was not good. While the mackerel was good the salmon and shrimp sashimi were both gummy and hard to chew. Inedible. The bill seemed much higher than in the past for very mediocre food. Service was not attentive. We asked for water several times and only one person in our table got water (???). Also struggled to get waitress’ attention to request different food given the low quality of the sashimi. I won’t be returning. So sad.

We love Tokio Sake. Have been here many times and brought friends. The service is also great. Food is fresh. Sushi selection is extensive. I love the Udon noodles. They have more food there than sushi, rest assured!!

I miss this place a lot. Used to live near Deer Park and my family and I would dine here about once every couple months. Great atmosphere, excellent food and friendly staff and sushi chefs. Always enjoyed my experiences here. Special events and regular dinners were always a treat at Tokio Sake.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Tokio Sake. I ordered a volcano roll, and it was enough to
feed two people. The quality of the food was 5 stars! The presentation was artistic, and my server was attentive. The restaurant was very full on a Saturday night, which is a testament to the place. I had not eaten here before but will definitely come back! The ambiance is very nice as well. Great dining experience 👌

We frequent here often and love their sushi. The nigiri pieces are large and there is a wide selection of specialty rolls. Some are massive. Our favorites are Ocean Drive, Volcano Roll, Black Tiger and my personal favorite (all cooked) is the Tokio Dragon roll (we swap out the potato crunch and ask for tempura crunch. SO good!). The Japanese Truffle Salmon and Hamachi Wonder appetizers are absolutely phenomenal and we order those two every time. The fresh ginger dressing that comes w/ the Tokio Salad is so freakin delicious too. My sister prefers hot dishes and she has enjoyed every hot dish off the menu as well. Staff are great and the owner is the absolute sweetest. It's always a joy to see and chat w/ her when we can. =) It can get expensive but to be fair, we order a lot of sushi. Lol

Unique, beautiful, and FRESH sushi creations. Be prepared to be wowed by the sushi's presentation here. Most of the specialty sushi rolls are huge and are meant to be shared. This is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in the area. My poor pictures don't do justice to the size and beautiful presentation of the dishes. Service is just okay, and our food was sitting for a while before it was brought to our table. Besides that we would come back.

Discovered this restaurant 13+ years ago like finding a gem. We drive from the Northbrook every time when we need our sushi. If course we tried other sushi options like Bluef**h or Kam***chi they don’t even come close to freshness or taste. Bonus top shelf wines and very knowledgeable friendly staff
