So how can a grocery store be out of 2% milk!!? The only "grocery " store in the area and you don't pre-order Milk? I have gotten outdated yogurt, moldy cheese and repackaged/dated meat. I see a closing when the new Aldi's open, Harmon Hwy was a lot nicer Kroger than Bartonville, they should have left that one openNow they have 6 major parking spots for people to pick up groceries so instead they should have them along the fence if you're to busy to grocery shop why make people that can shop get the worst spots?!Hire people, not everyone not employed by Kroger want to go through self check out! One cashier open, 9 people in line and 5 employee standing around chit chatting?! Just don't get it

Ordered cupcakes recently for my children's birthday. Unfortunately they were done incorrectly. I mentioned that it wasn't right, and instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, she blamed it on the lady that originally took the order for not writing it down properly. Humility speaks volumes...in this case I was met with hostility. In the end I took the cupcakes that were incorrectly made, was never offered an alternative or to have it fixed. My 8 year old son will be disappointed with pink cupcakes...but it is what it is. On the flip side, Nena in floral is outstanding and has wonderful customer service skills! Thanks for your recent help with my balloons.

There is an employee at krogers in Bartonville I wish I could steal and bring to my job. Her customer service skills are flawless ❤️ Edit post: Her name is Jessyka Searle. Some how my pickup order was missing a bunch of items. She spoke with me for a long time on the phone trying to figure out what happened. She then gave me her personal number so I can text her all my missing items, made appropriate substitutions (or offered credit towards next purchase but subs were fine). She apologized again and wanted to make things right. She was so sweet and so genuine!! I love great customer service!

They never have anything you need the shelves are either not stocked or never even ordered and today I stopped to get gas and all pumps had out of order signs on them. Plus the whole street is torn up in front

This has been my main grocery store for eight years, but until masks are mandatory again I will not be going back. Please require responsible shopping.

Whoever orders their stock should be fired. Always out of stuff. If I really need something I go to the East Peoria Kroger's because they always have stuff in stock.

Well, we've lived in the country out past Bartonville for about 5 years now, and I have a Love/Hate with this Kroger location. LOVE: It's 7 minutes from my house, which sits in the middle of nowhere. That's it. That's the love. That's the ONLY reason I go back. I'd love to say I'll never go back, but the next closest store is 20 minutes away and there are times when I just have to hit up the Bartonville Kroger. I'm assuming that Stockholm Syndrome is how they keep the majority of their customers. HATE: Well, normally, just going in and out of here isn't great. The parking lot is awful, it's a small store anyway with a lot less stock than a regular Kroger, and the customer service is iffy. But let me walk you through a couple of those customer service issues so you can understand just how iffy it is: I bought a roast and a pork roast from here. They were in my fridge overnight, and when I woke up that morning, the fridge smelled like a dead animal. I took the roast and pork roast back to Kroger that morning, and I did not have my receipt. The 'use by' date on both the roast and pork roast were 2 days away, but the smell was affecting everyone in the area. The snotty kid who was covering customer service for his manager told me that I needed to keep my receipts (I've never had to return groceries before), that I needed to cook meat immediately in the summer (um), and that he just couldn't help me. I said "Go tell your manager that her lunch is over, buddy." She immediately refunded my money and I never saw that kid again. I came up here after my kids went to school one morning. I know that they don't have an actual cashier until 8am, so I took my time shopping and strolled around, and I had a lot to buy anyway. So around 8:15am, I go up to the front of the store with a large cart FULL of groceries. No cashier. The lady at the front of the store told me to just use the self-checkout. Um, ok...It took me almost 15 minutes to ring up and bag all the groceries myself. There was almost no one else using self checkout, and she never offered to help me or anything. On the way out, I registered my displeasure with her by simply saying "If the sign says you're gonna have cashiers by 8am, maybe you should." She literally said "UGH" and rolled her eyes at me. The sign saying that they have cashiers by 8am disappeared by the next time I was there. I just bought some potatoes there last week. I brought the potatoes in and placed them on my BRAND NEW BUTCHER BLOCK. The potatoes leaked some mysterious, nasty liquid all over the new butcher block (seriously, I've had it less than a month), and stained the hell out of it since I left them there overnight since I was using them first thing in the morning. This time, nobody gave me a hassle about returning them, but nobody offered to buy me a new butcher block, either. The last, and best story I want to share was the time I took my kids in there at around 6:30pm one night to buy some fried chicken from the deli. We had been busy and were hungry and cranky and just wanted some fried chicken and Bob Evans mashed potatoes for dinner. I walked up to the deli after placing a few items in my cart and they had several of the white chicken packages sat out, but none of the dark 12 piece, which is what we always get since my kids all like legs. There were 6 legs in the hot case, though, so I just told the guy working behind the counter "I'll take those 6 legs you have there and one breast." He said to me "I can't sell you those 6 legs, then I'll be out of chicken." It took me a couple of seconds to register what he said to me, so I just stood there, and then he said "Well, are you going to order something?" So I said "I want those 6 legs and a breast." And he said "I just told you I'm not selling those to

This is the worst Kroger in the area. Its very small. Not alot of choices and seems like they are always out of stuff. Whenever I go here there is always stuff on my list I can't find.

There are no groceries here. Ever. Don't think you can come back at a later date and and it will be different because there are no groceries here. Ever.

I've always been a loyal Kroger shopper. However, I'm afraid that the Bartonville location is close to losing my business. Not only are they often out of items, they stock items on those ridiculously high shelves that no one can reach, and employees aren't around to help with. That can all be overlooked, I guess, but when it comes to ordering ANYTHING in advance from the deli, that's where I draw the line. We've gone in countless times when our order was to be ready, only to

Flowers for all occasions. Good prices. And flowers that last.

Always helpful even during peak times. This store has taken alot of new customers due to other stores closing but you still see the same smiling faces ready to serve you!

The manager Judy is the worst. She doesn’t try helping customers at all and is very lazy. Ten min to look through video and cashier stealing and she does nothing about it...
