The pizza here is delicious! We love the garlic knots too. However we will never return to this restaurant, the service was the horrendous. The waitress was so unkind and defensive despite us being patient with her lack of effort. There were only two tables of people to serve so they were not busy. In the dining room, but she never once offered refills and the pizza took over an hour then only one pizza came out. When we inquired about the timing of the next one she replied I don’t cook the pizza and stomped off. We watched lots of pizza go out for to gos which is great and I understand being busy so we waited another 10 mins then went up to the counter to ask again. We were treated with contempt for asking. So I then asked for the manager who did come to the table but unfortunately his customer service skills were not any better. He made excuses, blamed us, and never once apologized instead he berated us for complaining. . He did say it should be ready soon. He then proceeded to return to the kitchen where we could hear the conversation about us. They used some very unkind and inappropriate adjectives and said how rude we were for complaining that we had to wait 45 mins for the 2nd pizza. And then we watched him make the pizza that we had ordered which had obviously never been put in. My husband at this point said we don’t want the rest of the pizzas we would just to pay the bill and leave. As we were exiting the restaurant after paying the full bill the manager began talking about us to the one other table in the restaurant. We were dumbfounded. We still don’t understand how he justified treating us so badly and blaming us for asking about our order or for being frustrated that half the tables order came and 45 mins later the other half still didn’t have food. So, I suggested enjoying this pizza but as a to-go order only.

We purchased two xl stuffed crust pizzas for take out. When the pizzas arrived, the size and make were spot on for the price. Then we ate. OMG!! Best pizza I've had since Chicago deep dish! Really wish they had a store in Springfield!

Benny’s is the OG imo. I was raised in the area and every time I come back to visit, it’s not complete without a Benny’s pizza. Not a lot of local restaurants survive in this small town, but Benny’s has been consistent and amazing as long as I can remember it.

We were in Beardstown for a baseball tournament and needed food between games. We found Benny’s on Google Maps and figured we give them a try. The food was very good! The pizza and lasagna were both great! The staff and the person we figured was the owner were super friendly. They took great care of us. Highly recommend Benny’s!

Food was good. Had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Big portion. Comes with garlic bread. Definitely will be back to try pizza. A little warm in dining area,but enjoyed a good meal

It is a cute and charming place. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The price is very reasonable and food quality is excellent. Tge quantity is also big. I also loved their bread!it is a gem, and I would highly recommend this place.
