Fun, colorful restaurant. Good ice cream. A little language barrier but we finally placed our orders. Facility was clean but there wasn't soap in the restroom.
Wow so amazing. The mangonada was delicious and the ice cream was unbelievably good. The vanilla had raisins in it which was a pleasant surprise. The cone was also so good, the best cone I've ever had.

Excellent! 100% recommended. I came when they first opened and didn't like it much. But no lie, I go there regularly now. The menu is very varied, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. It's never a bad day to go to La Catrina! 😁👌

I've lived in this area for approximately 9 months I've never stopped in here before but I finally did and wow I don't know what rock I was hiding under but you talk about a hidden gem in Beardstown Illinois For me this is it from the time I walked in I felt welcome appreciated as a customer place was spotless and this being during an addition to this restaurant that I'm being told if I've got it correct they will be serving hot off the grill Mexican street type food!! Awesome exactly what I'd like to say see and taste! I ordered the Carnitas tacos and these were amazing The portion was great for the price I was more than pleased with everything about this establishment If you haven't been here you don't know what you're missing just as I didn't but I will be back today in fact! If I could give it more than five stars I really would!

Best authentic Mexican food around!
Stopped here on our way home, just to take a little break from driving. The ice cream was delicious, and the perfect stop for a refreshing break.

What a jewel of an ice cream shop! I hope Beardstown realizes just what it has here. Delightful variety of Mexican desserts, sodas, fruit drinks, etc.
