My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at The Princess Cafe. This was our first time at Princess - it will not be our last. The service was exemplary (Giselle) and the food was delicious. From start to finished one of the very best restaurants in this area.
I went here after more than a year, so I'm looking forward to it. The table relish tray is gone, which may seem like such a small thing but was really part of the whole experience of going. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, which came out as 4 pcs of shrimp laid on a lettuce leaf served with a to go container of cocktail sauce 😔. Part of going to this beautiful place is the atmosphere and the experience. The food was amazing, and dinner was great, but for the price, please put a little more effort into being the amazing dining experience you were in the past. Save the to go containers for takeout.

Service was great. Everthing else...not so much. The 4 little meatball appetizer seemed like frozen meatballs in a tasteless sauce. The steaks are exoensive. Did have Steak Diane. It was pretty good but better as a leftover the next day. The French Onion soup was just mediocre. Lots of cheese but lacking in flavor. The Bloody Mary tadted like a Virgin one...could not taste the vodka. When asked how it tasted, I said I could not taste any alcohol, my waitress said it was the kind of drink that sneaks up on you, even tho you cant taste the liquor. I said, I don't think so, but she just walked away. She never said she'd rake it back and add more vodka.
All in all...it was pretty disappointing. It was our anniversary dinner but we could have done better at home and saved $140.00.
I always wanted to go here since I'd heard so many good things about tje restaurant. But sadly, I doubt we'll be returning.

Been coming here for 17 years. This was by far a horrible experience. I had the parsley shrimp with garlic mashed. The shrimp was undercooked and the potatoes tasted like instant. I mentioned it to the server and she stated they had never used instant. I’ve had them several times and it was not the same. I’m not one to complain due to the old statement of you may not want to eat the corrected food. The server seemed a little upset and was a little cold for the rest of the meal. Reason I didn’t want to complain about the shrimp. This was on Friday night October 3rd at 5:00-5:05 pm.

Dined there with my husband for the first time and we will most definitely be back! We made a reservation, and they took us within minutes of our reservation. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion or date night, dim and romantic. The food was spectacular, decent portions. Everything is made fresh to order, which means it’s fresh and hot when it arrives to the table. I would definitely recommend.

A real hidden gem! This is a very good place to eat. Went with friends and had a great time. There is a dress code, so make sure to check on that before you go. Reservations are probably your best bet.
Food was amazing as was our service!

Go spend your money where there's actual quality food. Waited 1.5 hours for food, no refills per the waiter never asking, asked for well done and received medium rare, party of 10 and the only person decently happy got a burger, bland food, tastes as if it's cooked all on the same grill. Super disappointing. 100% not going back. You'd be better off going to McDonald's.
