Please help this nice older man, Jack, out. We were there and no one else was. He can't find employees to help him. He has good wine. Restaurant is closed and he is trying to keep the winery going. We enjoyed the one on one visit with him and bought a case of wine. I hope there is inventory left for you to enjoy.
Jack is the best. The winery is beautiful and very peaceful. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open right now due to not having a chef but it's still a great place to visit. Wine is really good.

I don't know how people are leaving positive reviews. I have tried to come here four times in the last 10 years during business hours and it's never open. I do not believe this place is actually open. The winery at least.
Copperhead red with sliver top is the best wine I have ever had. The food is delicious and everybody was really friendly!

Soooo good. The Swamp Water wine is excellent and the food was so very tasty. Owner provides a wine tasting with order of an entrée. Right off the Tunnel Hill Bike Trail! Amazing wildlife viewing from anywhere in the winery or restaurant. Highly recommended if visiting Heron Pond or Cache River.
Very nice restaurant and our waitress was so attentive to our group! The venue is perfect for parties, weddings, etc! The wine was good, too!

Really good restaurant that no one seems to know about. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive. Good food and a wonderful waitress. Good wine made on the premises. Will be back.
We stopped in after a hike on the earlier side of the day & at first didn't find anyone. But the owner called us in as we were getting back into the car & glad we did. Had some excellent conversation with the owner about local history & thoroughly enjoyed the wines. We've been to a number of the local vineyards and while the tasting room wasn't the fanciest, this one has some of the best wines (at least when it comes to dry, which is what we tasted). Highly recommend.
Jack is a real nice host for our stay as a Harvest Host member. He is hard of hearing so speak up. The restaurant serves up really large, good tasting portions.
