La pizza birria fue lo máximo, the food the drinks and the vibes were amazing! These are a great group of people and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I’ll come back for sure (and I’m from Colorado)

I ordered a “pinche torta “ my dad platillo de camarón and my mom quesadilla. Food was excellent, amazing seasoning , good quality, fresh . The atmosphere is clean and the service was good they hand a person that speak English and Spanish .

Stopped in here for lunch. Had the tacos they were excellent ambience is really cool. The building is really cool as well. It's from the 1890s and it is very clean and very well done. Combined with friendly service, I have to recommend!

Wow! Amazing food. Lovely staff.Horchata, pastor tacos, birria, everything really fresh, well-prepared, flavorful and you want to try all the sauces!Vegetarian options: Two options noted as vegan. One of us (me) had the vegan burrito. Delicious. Included Mexican rice which I am guessing was made with vegetable rather than chicken stock.

Tonight was the first time I ordered to take out and let me tell you I am happy!!La comida está deliciosa and the horchata is one of the best I've had in Belvidere!! I ordered 9 tacos dé carne asada, 1 quesadilla with carne asada, and 2 horchatas!!Will be returning!!

Can call them but they wont answer, call them a 2nd time and they take the phone off the ringer so it goes straight to voicemail ? the service is bad enough even if you go there. I recommend any other Mexican joint than this one

Have never been here before but Wow! Clean establishment, friendly staff, and the tacos were GREAT!We will be back! They also serve alcohol beverages.

I enjoyed everything this Mexican restaurant had to offer.The establishment is extremely clean and the food was delicious. The waitstaff were friendly and knowledgable.I would recommend and return to explore the menu a bit more.Thank you for considering my opinion of Gomez Restaurant and bar that also has 2 taco trucks in Belvidere IL as well.The Menudo spicy soup is only served on Sunday.The guacamole was also made to order and just perfectly prepared just in time fashion.
