Pita X-Press, located at a highway rest stop, is a gem for Greek food lovers with vegetarian options such as falafel and hummus. The chicken shawarma wrap was great, fresh, real chicken, well spiced. The cucumber salad was nice. The trucker special was plenty to eat and everything was loaded with flavor except the chicken. The chicken was kind of bland and could use some more seasoning. The stuffed grape leaves and falafel were good, but could use a touch more acidity. The gyro meat is recommended if you are looking for flavor. The cook was great and very helpful. The mango orange smoothie was the bomb!! Thick fresh real fruit delicious. The restaurant is nice and clean. Prices are reasonable, making it a great alternative to national chains along the tollway.
