My family and I recently visited this Taco Bell in belvidere Illinois. Now before I go any further yes I know this is fast food, yes I also know not to expect much but there’s still a standard to uphold least I thought. So upon entering the establishment we were not greeted by or acknowledged by a worker but by a sign that said please use kiosk. There were two kiosks 1 of them was “currently unavailable” the other was malfunctioning and we found it hard to use. I tried to stand at the counter and was not acknowledged by any of the workers. My wife finally was able to submit our order of 4 luxe boxes and we went to sit down. When we got to our table we noticed that the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was not good. Tables were dirty, floor was not clean, and counters were not wiped down. As we waited conversations could be heard from the kitchen of which were not very appropriate. In the twenty minutes we waited to get our food we watched three different people try to come in and order at the kiosk get frustrated then stand at the counter and then just walk out. There were four cars that went through the drive thru also. This is just sad. Once we got our food 20 minutes later none of the boxes were labeled and we spent the rest of our meal playing burrito roulette. I am highly disappointed by the fact that Taco Bell has declined to give the customer any human interaction and has turned to computers. I am also concerned about the lack of service on cleaning the lobby. Overall this location deserves a surprise visit from a district manager. Shame on you Taco Bell.

This Taco Bell doesn't even deserve 1 star. I've worked at a few taco bells, and something is wrong at this location. The employees are rude, clearly miserable. And management is also rude, and no help. Your order will be wrong every time and they wont do anything about. Dont waste your time or money. If you want taco bell, go to the one by Walmart!

Location messed up my order two times in a row, the manager and I spoke on the phone and was told the next order was payed for by taco bell. When I went back to get my free order they refused the oder and told me they had no recollection of talking to me even tho I had my recipts and phone records of the conversation. Will not be going back and will definitely be contacting corporate office

Slowest taco bell I've ever been to. If someone's order isn't ready in the drive thru have them PULL UP. Spent 20 minutes waiting in line for them to fill 2 orders ahead of me in the drive thru and they took so long my entire lunch break was wasted. 0/10, do better.

The food tasted bad. The meat on my meal was chicken and it was old and dried out, almost crunchy. My husband wanted a chicken and cheese quesadilla and they slathered it in the sauce we asked them to leave off. The receipt also said no jalapeno sauce. There was more sauce than chicken on his quesadilla. I will be trying a different location in definite if we want taco bell again.
My husband and I recently dined at this location, expecting to relax and enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, our visit was met with an unpleasant incident that was poorly handled by both the staff and management.
While enjoying our meal I discovered a long black hair in my entree. I quickly brought it to the attention of the staff, who simply responded with “Oh that is a hair.” The manager’s response was equally disappointing since they showed no acknowledgment or an apology. When they showed no intention of making this right, I had them notice that none of their staff were wearing proper hygiene hair protective nets.
Throughout the ordeal, neither the staff nor the manager offered an apology or showed any concern. Their lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking. I declined the replacement and asked for a refund which they only refunded a fraction of the actual meal.
I left Taco Bell feeling deeply disappointed, not only by the hair in my food but by the indifferent and unprofessional handling of the situation by the staff and management. A simple apology and a bit of empathy could have made a significant difference, but sadly, that was too much to expect.
I will not be returning to Taco Bell and would caution others about dining here. The lack of basic customer service and hygiene standards is unacceptable.
Javier the "manager on duty" was very rude and refused to process a refund. I ordered 2 cheesy gordita crunchs, no sauce. What they gave me was 2 gorditas with only meat. Nothing else..... He rolled his eyes and laughed in my face. More then $20 to get disrespected and no food.... never returning to this location and I hope someone goes here and makes an example of this guy.

It's refreshing to have face to face quality Customer Service! The food was hot and fresh. Now if they'd only make nacho fries a permanent item!
