I ordered a chicken carnita skillet it was good except it didn't have any chicken in it. They forgot to add the chicken and I paid full price , I'm a little mad about that and then I got a response from the business telling me I was wrong. I did not taste any chicken in that order so if there was chicken maybe they should have added enough to taste! I am so so mad what ever happened to the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an amazing experience at this family-owned restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I arrived ~11:15 on Nov 17, never been here before. The place was packed, I chose to go in & ask for a waiting time... Was told 10 min max, I said I have a guest with me & will return in 5 min - agreed. I returned 5 min later, was promptly seated and my guest arrived shortly thereafter. Uncle John's is advertised as being & laid out as a diner, their inside seating (booth / counter) is reasonable. This is where my opinion climaxes! I requested Chipotle steak skillet, was asked how do you want your steak (rare), eggs (sunny side), toast (rye). My Friend arrived shortly after myself, had reviewed this restaurant, he in fact recommended it. Neither he nor I have been here before. This is where I will boast about Uncle John's! My breakfast was spot on! No over cooked steak, sunny side eggs - great, the meal was phenomenal!!! Side note - I used to work in food service, was a cook, maintenance, & manager in food service. What Uncle John's has going , they are spot on & I fore see them prospering! Well done!

This place is cozy, with food to match. It’s not fancy, but that’s what I love about it—it feels like a mom-and-pop shop where hard work and a friendly atmosphere shine through. They always make sure you're well taken care of.
The food is simple but flavorful, and I find myself coming back often. The prices are still affordable, and the meals are more satisfying than what you’d get at fast food places. Definitely worth a visit!

Breakfast is amazing. Friendly atmosphere. Popular gathering place. Dining area is small and a little crowded but the food is worth it. Dinner is good. I enjoyed the diet plate with hamburger patty and fresh delicious fruit. If you go for dinner be sure to check hours as they are not open every evening.

10/02/24 second time here for breakfast, food was very good, honestly the best prices I've seen in a very long time. Service excellant.friendly. I live in s missouri go through there a few times a year. Will definitely be returning. Can't recommend it enough.

Cute diner! Large menu. Big servings. Enjoyed french toast combo. Friendly staff. Very clean . Not from the area we drove around saw a crowded parking lot figured it had to be good. Great value. Will definitely return when in the area!
