We were passing through Belvedere and saw a positive review of this place. We stopped. You should stop. Don't let the sketchy exterior fool you. You will see a deli counter on your right. Push past that to the bar. Lots of choices. Yuengling on tap! We had the Chicago Dog. Next time? Italian Beef or maybe the Saturday special: Stuffed Tomato. That's all we know. It sure looks like they can (and do) handle a crowd. Appears to be a great neighborhood bar, open to visitors....
Just happened upon this little place on a drive to Dubuque and was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. Burger was a-mazing and the tots were so crispy I almost could t stop eating them! If you’re ever on a road trip, it might not look like much but it’s worth the trip off the highway to eat there!

Don't let the outside of the building discourage you, it's a casual, friendly place.
Everyone working there actively serves the whole restaurant. They are attentive without being overbearing.
The food is really good. They have a charcoal grill out front cooking the burgers and steaks
