I ordered a lunch burrito meal for $10 from Mr. Burrito in Addison, Illinois, as a to-go order and ate it in my vehicle. My experience was less than satisfying. Observing the cook warming the rice in the microwave and manhandling it was off-putting right from the start. The burrito’s steak portion was not only minimal but also fatty and gristly, missing the authentic Hispanic flavors I anticipated. The rice was another letdown, flavorless except for an overwhelming taste of black pepper, and its microwave reheating did no favors to its quality. On a positive note, the beans managed to deliver a taste of authenticity, which was a small comfort in an otherwise disappointing meal. The Diablo hot sauce, although ample in quantity, failed to provide the expected heat or flavor. Overall, the experience at Mr. Burrito was underwhelming, particularly given the meal’s price and the less-than-appetizing preparation I witnessed. After being quoted a total of $10.80, I was disappointed to discover a service charge had been added without prior mention, bringing my actual total to $11.20. This lack of transparency, combined with the lackluster meal and preparation I observed, made my overall experience with Mr. Burrito disappointing.

This used to be a go to place in our house and now it is under new ownership…. And not very good. I gave it a few tries since new owns and now I’m done. It is simply not good …. Try somewhere else.

Place used to be great. 2 months ago it got bought out by new owners and new staff and cooks. Now it’s terrible, the food and tacos are dry, chicken in chicken fajitas flavorless and the verde sauce recipe changed and is not good at all. There is no authentic taste to anything anymore sadly. Miss the idk owners and old menu. Menu got cut down by like 40 items sadly. Not a fan anymore. Terrible

literally the only place i go to get mexican food. genuinely the staff are the nicest employees ive seen, especially the girls at the window. We’ve came for christmas for tamales, we even accidentally came when they were closed and they still served us. 10/10 !

This place is WAY to expensive for what you are receiving. I ordered a taco salad (ONLY) and it was over $14.00. The problem is, there was no flavor and the portions was NOT $14.00 worth. All other restaurants I have been to in this area, ordering the SAME thing, has been half that price and was much more flavorful, with larger portions. I do no recommend this restaurant at all !!! Extremely disappointed!
Place is terrible now. Can’t order online, all the prices are different. New owner. Used to have a dish my wife loved that was cheese fries with ground beef on it. They don’t have it on the menu any more so when I called to order I said okay well can I just get cheese fries and pay extra for ground beef on it they just said no. Cant imagine this garbage place stays open long. Horrible.

They have new owners . The prices went up by 30% and the beef fajitas we ordered were tough and had alot of veggies and little beef. We will have to find a new Mexican restaurant in the area.
