I had the red snapper that was so tough I needed a knife to cut it. The taste was decent but no where near what it should be. Red beans and rice with the smoked sausage was very good. The coconut shrimp was great and would order it again but the Red Snapper ruined the whole experience. They do have live music outside that is a nice setting. I would not recommend the red snapper but will update after I have tried the crab legs

First time here after hearing about it for over a year and we’re very happy with the whole experience. I have had cod twice and didn’t like it either time,( not here) but it was excellent. I had the tavern cod dinner with the home made Cole slaw and fries, my wife had the catfish dinner and it was cooked just the way she likes it. Sean , our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and was on top of everything but not hovering. We will definitely be back. Best food we’ve had in the Benton area. And the beer was very cold.

The restaurant had a two person band. The noise was so loud we were unable to talk with others. Left without ordering food. My past experiences with this restaurant were good and the food was great.

We stopped in from Harrisburg and we're glad to see it was worth the drive. The aesthetics made it fun to look around. The service was good and the food was amazing. Loved the blackened salmon and crab cakes. Good to know there's a good sea food place available. Was definitely worth the drive

I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a good seafood meal I had the shrimp skewers both the garlic and the blackened tasted great the coconut shrimp app was really good I loved the sauces it came with and the key lime pie was delicious and had a great time flavor that wasn't to tart

You would think that a fish place would make their own crab cakes. Theirs are just standard per packaged and fried up. Not much flavor. As for the dipping sauce, I was not impressed with it either. I did like the red beans and rice and Cesar salad was fresh.

Stopped in with my sisters for dinner and drinks because I'd heard good things from friends. We had a great time! We sat outside in the patio area which is very nice and relaxing. Before we knew it, we'd been there for 2 hours! Laughing and talking and being served delicious food and yummy drinks by a very nice gentleman... I definitely recommend the crabby cakes and several Alult Lemonade Shake up with Rum!!!🍋🦀

Stopped in tonight with my wife for our anniversary. We hadn’t been there for about 3-4 years. Remembered the food being excellent. Tonight that just wasn’t the case.
We ordered clam strips for an appetizer. It had so much breading, that’s all you could taste was the breading. Also there were many little clam strips that were just breading. Found a piece of breading that was the size of a mushroom but it was just fried breading.
We both ordered the jumbo shrimp with two sides. Her sides were french fries and red beans and rice. My sides were potato salad and coleslaw. Her red beans and rice were very good, but the french fries were undercooked and tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. The potatoes in the potato salad were overcooked making it on the mushy side. Both the potato salad and the coleslaw were tasteless also. The same goes for the jumbo shrimp. Not much flavor at all and overly breaded.
We were really looking for a great experience, which had been our previous experiences. Not sure what happened tonight. Everyone can have a bad night.
In trying to find something positive, our waitress was excellent.

Wings are amazing, don't know about anything else I only go for the wings and I'm never disappointed. I will say over and over again I wish they had garlic and parm wings but I'll keep eating the ones they have when I can.
