05/22/2020Best Mexican food around. Take out was ready in 10 minutesUPDATE:03/02/2024Did dine in today. The service was excellent, our waitress was very tentative and friendly. Had the ground beef taco salad which is served in a large flour tortilla. Had a lot of fresh filling.

Best Mexican restaurant in Southern Illinois in my opinion, we love this place.
Frequent visitor. I'd say this restaurant is the most popular in Benton. Great service and food. I've personally never had a bad experience here, and I've been here well over 50x

My adult kids and their families go there, and every time we have a birthday, that seems where we end up, great atmosphere friendly waiters / waitresses not to mention wonderful food!
Had lunch there 10-25-23 taco salad and fiesta nachos. Rene did a great job of just the right amount of attention and the cooks did everything right. We asked for a spicier salsa which he brought out and it was hot but real good. The place was very clean and at 2 it was not busy. Will definitely go back when in the area.
