Purchased a dozen tamales here at $28. Literally filled with only 10% meat and 90% was just dough. Flavor was not great. For the price, I would have expected at LEAST 40% meat.

Lately that bread has been very stale. Almost like you’re bitting into a rock. Sad to see that now we can’t get fresh bread anymore. Might as well go to the bakery in Melrose park.

This tiny ma-and-pa family run bakery deserves all the accolades of support and praise! That are hard working, friendly and a true gem you should not pass up. Before you get your tray and tongs to make your picks, you have to wash your hands. How awesome is that in these times?! They have my full respect for their dedication and hard work.. and great pastries of course.Find out the timing of the hot trays coming out and you will be hooked?.
