Chicken sandwiches were mediocre . There were a lot of people waiting so it did take about 20 minutes to get two sandwiches but the food was sooo greasy! Nearly went into cardiac arrest eating that. Only was able to eat half because of how heavy the meal was. The flavor itself was okay but nothing special tasted like Culver’s spicy chicken sandwich but with 10x the grease and 3x the price. Maybe other food is good but wouldn’t recommend going for their sandwich.

I don’t know where to leave this review! But dang, the Thanksgiving meal was the bomb!! The whole turkey carved and laid out with some juice in the bottom was just spectacular! Not dry even after being reheated incorrectly and not covered! The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious! The sweet potato casserole was as good as my own! The rolls were soft and pillowy. And the cranberry sauce was actually so good I was surprised. Like I liked it better than what I make myself.
All I can say is this is the way to go and I will be doing this again. Worth every penny and more! My husband picked up and was surprised he was offer a drink while he waited and was helped while loading the car. I am so thankful for Berwyn Chicken Co.!

I love that it’s not greasy, seasoned perfectly, very tender & love the sauce. The size is perfect, because I can enjoy more later. It really is a deal because of the portion. Selfishly, I wish they were open on Sundays because I’ve been wanting family to try it when they visit ?

I've catered a grad party from here. A week later, people were still bringing up the fried chicken. Literally remarkable, and reasonably priced. I've had the chicken sandwich with tater tots for lunch. It's great, no notes, but understand that it is more than enough food for two. Let me reiterate: two adults could not finish one order of chicken sandwich and tater tots for $15.99. And it was great. Try to go eat that well at the cheapest restaurant you can think of.

Arguably one of the best chicken sandwiches in an already crowded culinary space, but this is a definite must try!!
Served only during the lunch hours, the Berwyn hot colossal chicken sandwich is “colossal”! The patty is at least 25% bigger than the bun and it is crispy, crunchy, moist and has heat (but not really “hot”). It comes with what seems to be a pound (or more) of tater tots (or fries). Best thing is that it prepared to order, so fresh!!
I luv’d their slaw, should have gotten a bit more cause it really cut through all the oily-ness from the tots and sauce dripping from the chicken.
The place is very small but has a nice “dive” feel and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I ordered the chicken sandwich and 6 jumbo shrimp, total was $38.
The shrimp were very good. The chicken is pure comedy because of its size. You can buy 2 possible 3 more buns and still have 2 or 3 full size sandwiches. My sandwich was a tad bit too greasy, but tasted great.
Amazing! We've taken a ride through almost the entire menu, both lunch and dinner on different occasions. I was super excited when I heard about the chicken sammich (Berwyn hot!) for lunch and it did not disappoint. Our family has had Thanksgiving catered. Perfect! We ate way to many sah-sages when BCCo was formerly Big Guys. (could go for a Polish or turducken right now) Even the Cesar salad with extra crispy croutons was fab! Next up fish & chips. And always wings. Don't "think about it". Go. Support local. The best local with the best people.

I’ve tried this place twice. I really want to like it, but it just doesn’t do it for me. Yesterday I picked up a quarter chicken meal with tater tots, 6pc shrimp with Mac n cheese, and ordered a mash/gravy. The food is pricey, but I wouldn’t mind paying for quality, specially since it’s a local spot. The chicken was nice, it had good flavor. It was crispy on one side, but soggy on the other. The shrimp were overcooked so the batter tasted burnt and the shrimp were tough/dry. The tater tots were good, the Mac n cheese was too bland and dry for my taste… I didn’t get to taste the mash since they forgot to put it in the bag (should’ve checked before I walked out).
I always tell folks to try it for themselves because maybe I keep catching them on bad days.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve had outside of Nashville. Tots & mashed potatoes are decadent. Insanely good chicken strips. Had a mix up with the third party delivery service & the owner called and text me & made it right.
Important: no, the food isn’t cheap. But folks—the portions are insane & the quality unmatched. One $100 meal fed my family of four, including two teenage boys, for two nights. So the value is fantastic & that's all that should matter!
