Small treasure of a place that holds one of the best authentic Cuban chefs in Illinois. Probably the country… If you have never tried the Cuban Sandwich sliders at this place, you are missing out. I had the pleasure of enjoying authentic Cuban cuisine prepared by a truly wonderful chef. Each dish was made with the highest quality ingredients, which was reflected in the balance and delicious combination of flavors. From the classic rice and black beans to the exquisite roast suckling pig and sandwiches, each bite was a celebration of Cuban gastronomy. The chef's attention to detail and passion for her culinary art made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommended...
The food here was good but the big selling point for me is the authentic Cuban coffee! Very nice. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the first time we went in during our stop in Chicago, we waited a long time for our food and a long time for the bill and to go items. Thankfully we weren’t in a hurry but for someone ordering to go or trying to get in and out, this would have been an issue. But we liked this place and it was warm on a cold day!
