The food & service was great! Highly recommended!
Great service and atmosphere! The food is seriously overpriced and bland. Not worth your money! I was highly disappointed because it is a fairly newer restaurant in a great location. Food needs major improvement!
Editing review: I've been here a number of times and went for Father's Day, table of 8 at 2pm. Music was far too loud, couldn't hear the waitress, or anyone around our table which ruined the meal. They played music as if we're at a club. On top of the music being too loud, the dj was terrible. Cannot blend music, doesn't understand tempo or flow of music. We asked a few times if they could lower the volume but they refused.
We would've ordered more drinks and food but we weren't comfortable and drank at home. Oh well.
Unfortunately, I won't dine in anymore and will just take the food to go if I decide to go back. The food is very good (except for their margaritas which are either made with old limes or a mix, ingredients are not fresh given the price) but service lacking. Very disappointed.
This is a *good restaurant. We went 1/18/25 and ordered rojo enchiladas, tbone steak, waffles, chicken tenders, California omelette and steak tacos.
The good: overall everything was very good and fresh. We received complementary donuts and enjoyed it with cafe de olla. The enchiladas had a very good sauce. The white rice was very good same with the guacamole, however I do wish it came with a bit more beans. T bone steak was cooked perfectly, just needed a bit more of a crust around it. The omelette was fluffy, had a good amount of cheese and vegetables, they provide a chipotle aioli but needed more that. The steak tacos were seasoned very well, tender, tasted like it was skirt steak, fresh micro greens with delicious white rice. My kids downed the waffles and chicken tenders, one of my boys is incredibly picky but loved the tenders.
The not so good: where we were sitting under the heater was pretty hot but they ended up turning down the heat without us asking which was nice. The cream for the coffee curd a bit in the coffee which means it sat out too long or it was expired. But they did provide another cafe with another cream fairly quickly. The cafe de olla was a bit too sweet for us, we added some water to tone down the sweetness.
Overall a very good restaurant, I appreciate the elevated experience and will absolutely be back. If you're looking for a good restaurant that has a variety type of foods that's elevated, this is the spot.
Edit. Went again because we enjoyed it so much. This time ordered the tampiquena, ceviche, enchiladas and chicken tenders. All were great, and I will absolutely order the tampiquena again.
Great restaurant. Fried doughnut (?) on the house was delightful. Strawberry agua fresca was refreshing and the chilaquiles are a large portion. I took half home and ate the other half for dinner that night. Fun atmosphere. Cute bar.
Alex the server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and everything taster like fresh ingredients. This is some of the best guacamole I ever had! This was my first time and it was worth the review.
Come in on a Monday. I order a michi which wasn't satisfying taste wasn't there order guacamole and it was a little too watery. Prices are way to high for this area
Lovely place with yummy food. We had Divorced Chilaquiles.

Prices. This is the issue. $9.25 for fresh squeezed oh. Now, this might fly in Riverside, River Forest, or Oak Park. This is Berwyn and your a stones throw from the world's largest laundromat. We came for breakfast and the food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and the place has higher end tables and chairs. However, $35 for carne asada is a tough price when a half doz competitors are all running $25-28. Check your zip code and adjust.

The breakfast was delicious. The service was attentive and our waitress was nice. Home made doughnuts served with coffee was a nice touch. Abuelita hot chocolate and cafe de olla were just like grandma makes. The chilaquiles were tasty as was the fresh guacamole. The unfortunate downfall is you have to order from the menu "as is", no substitutions. When you go to a restaurant to order an omelet, you want to choose your own ingredients and not be forced to choose from the extremely limited omelet selections on the menu. The "fresh squeezed" orange juice is not good because they water it down taking away from the flavor of the oranges which were not even ripe. $9.25 per glass for watered-down orange juice is not okay! It's price-gouging to the core.

Food was ok, considering the place did not have many guest i would have expected my food to be warmer. Cafe de hoya was delicious & the green juice. however, my food was missing flavor, but the food presentation was nice. We came here for a business meeting and noticed they had wifi but upon asking for it was told it was private. The place is nice and well put together but the pricing is a bit on the expensive side for what is delivered. Service was reasonable, i did have to track down the servers as they seem to disappear for a bit of time.

This place is nicely arranged inside. The server I had was excellent. I ordered the chilaquiles burger with a michelada. The michelada was overly spicy and a bit too salty. The burger was cooked perfectly! The chilaquiles on top of the burger were also delicious. I would highly recommend this place for a great meal!

Food was delicious but the hype was too much for the chilaquiles burger to live up to unfortunately. Still a good burger and I’m excited to try other menu items!
