1 star because I ordered 3 hamburgers, which were fine except for the large fries. I couldn't eat them because they had too much pepper. I made my purchase this afternoon. I would like them to be more careful; I had to throw the fries in the trash.

Five - minus 1 Gal crew led by Mariah, Shantay, Miklaya and Jae manning the grill and making the burgers and fries today! Excited to see 5 Guys powered by 4 amazing Queens.

The experience here was exceptional. The service was immaculate and I don’t think that it could be any better. We ordered 2 little fries and the bag was filled up an inch on the bottom with them, along with the cups full of them. And then, a kind worker comes up and brings another cup full of fries and says that they underscored us on fries so they wanted to give us some more. That’s AMAZING service. This wasn’t my first time here, and every time it has been a great experience. When I showed up after my graduation in my gown, they congratulated me and gave me a surprise free milkshake! Great place, 11/10.

I placed a mobile order and they told me they couldn't make it since their mobile order screen wasn't working. I mean I paid for the food and had the receipt so what was the problem? Other people had the same problem when I went in there and the employees just shrugged at us

I heard of the hype of 5Guys, and today, I gave it a try with mixed reactions. When you walk in, you are bombarded with reviews and quotes from local magazines and news stations from across the country. Every available wall space and window has a reprint of a review or a quote; I found it overwhelming. When I got up to the counter, the menu was a lot to take in, I told the counter staff this is m my first time here, and she will need me through the menu. I got a bacon cheeseburger double with sautéed onions and mushrooms. The bacon and extra burger was a $5.40 upgrade, but the sautéed onions and mushrooms were no charge. I got the small fries and a drink. My lunch was over $20! They used a Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain offering 100s of options, I got the diet cola cream soda. The burger must be cooked to order, and I appreciate that. When I got the food, it came in a plain brown paper bag; there were grease spots - always a good sign of some tasty fries. The burgers buried under the fries. The small fries were served a cup, but it is mostly ceremonial as the fries in the bag would fill the cup 4 -5 times. The burger was wrapped in foil. It is a substantial juicy sandwich. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. The bacon was real bacon, not the shaved bacon product; some fast food places pass off for bacon. All in all, this was a good burger. Is it a $20 burger? I would come back and try the sinlge for $13.

I placed an order at 9:32 AM for delivery by de App at 12:00 PM today (May 9, 2025), and it didn’t arrive until almost 1:00 PM. When it finally got here, the food was cold and in poor condition. I called the Five Guys location in Berwyn, IL, and the customer service was awful—no one was helpful or willing to take responsibility. This experience was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. I expected much better from Five Guys. I won’t be ordering from this location again.

We did not have a good experience in this location, poor customer service, the cashier with a very bad attitude, for sure we will not return to this restaurant.

I buy my employees lunch here pretty often (used to be once a week, but the order was wrong too many times, so now about once a month) but long story short- as you can imagine. every time I go the order is between $175-$225. Last time we went, my meal was completely wrong, so one of my guys brought it back at the end of the day (my business is 45+ minutes away so we couldn’t go straight back) & let the store know. We came back today to order again & I was under the impression that since that had happened and we weren’t issued a refund or anything, they would at least make up that one burger.. to which they declined, despite remembering us & the issue. Unlike most, I’m not looking for anything for free.. but just based on the amount of money and frequency there you’d think that would’ve been the LEAST they could do. In hindsight, when we brought the food (untouched) back last time we should’ve just demanded a refund on the spot and ended it there, instead of taking them at their word.
It’s only about $20-25 so whatever.. but definitely speaks the character and brand at 5 guys. Moving forward we’ll find other places to eat.

I don’t eat burgers regularly but wanted to treat myself. The burger & fries were decent. Like a lot of other restaurants, the quality is not the same like back in the day so there’s that. If your not expecting a gourmet type burger & just a quick decent fix then 5 Guys is definitely not a bad choice.

Terrible and extremely overpriced. Bland beef on a poor quality bun than fell apart on 2nd bite. Can get a better quality burger at Wendy's for about $12 cheaper. Rip off.
Slow service and guy preparing the food needs to pull them pants up also got the wrong shake flavor
Order is always correct, restaurant is always clean, and staff is always friendly.
