The service here is amazing! They treat you like family that you want to see. Order a pizza and a beer and don't forget to try their hot honey! I put that on the pizza and love it.
We absolutely love Flapjack Brewery! The service here is always friendly, attentive, and genuine — you can really tell they care about their customers. We actually chose Flapjack for our wedding reception, and it was the perfect place. The cozy atmosphere, the delicious wood-fired pizzas, and the great craft beer made everything unforgettable.
Our guests kept talking about how good the food was and how relaxed and fun the vibe felt. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
If you’re looking for a local spot with amazing pizza, great beer, and even better people — Flapjack is it. 🍕🍺💛
Flapjack is a delicious gem here in the depot district. Their pizzas are definitely not one to skip! We had the Pizza de Stagione (carne) that had fig on it. SO SO DELICIOUS! A MUST TRY.
I was bamboozled... the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had is back! So now that that's back.. how about a pickle beer?
Best crisp and flavorful beer in Berwyn perfectly pairing with the amazing pizza they have to offer. Kind of pizza you crave the next day! Great spot to hang out with friends and listen to some cool music!
So do you guys fire people or have a big turn over rate? Been going here since 2018 and met so many bartenders and they keep switching. They hardly know the menu and don’t even know when to ask or don’t ask at all. What’s going on with this place?????!!
Great place for a chill date or family night out. Awesome selection of pies and brews. Owners are awesome and active community members that pour their hearts into the place and it shows!
If I could give a zero star I would. Their service was horrible. We went Saturday and get there around 5:15 pm. Mind you they open at 5 pm. We're told they don't have meat, sausage and pepperoni. We had to go up and place or order for beer and carry it to our table. We waited for someone to come to our table so we can order our pizza and after 15 minutes I had to go twice just to get the waitress to put our order in. When we were told they had no meat, we should had just gone. We kept waiting for our food and I went and asked the waitress that it's been over 40 minutes and her response was that they were short staffed. She could have came and apologized but I had to go up for a third time asking for our food. We finally got our same three pizzas with cheese and we had to ask for plates, bruh 🙄
She never came to ask if we needed something else and I had to get take out boxes from someone else. I always give 20 % plus tip. But, I didn't tip. The service was terrible. I honestly was looking forward to eating here but was in shock that they open at 5 pm and we get there at 5:15 pm and they have no meat for the pizzas. We had to ask for parmesan cheese and pepper. The pizza was good and beer too. But, their service was terrible. No, I do not recommend this place. The first time I went about two years ago, their service was great so this time second time around, it was not up to par.
They’re know for their beer. Gotta work on the pizza a little more, the crust taste is great and if you’re getting a pepperoni pizza they load the pep on there but they need to work on reducing their slice flop.
This Bar and Pizzeria had been on my radar prior to leaving the UK, for a short break to Chicago to watch AC/DC. Kev and I weren't disappointed! Great hospitality, a wide selection of beers made on site and a 'cup and char' pizza to die for. Topped off with hot honey, it's one of the best pizzas I've tried. The 'Tommy o two legs' was my beer of choice with most having quirky names inspired by the friendly staff. A great location to visit and one that will be fondly remembered. Keep doing what you do and thanks for the stickers! Cheers Rod & Kev 🇬🇧

Good beer, absolutely fantastic pizza.
I went today and the sign said to seat myself and someone would attend. I waited for 10 minutes and I wasn't acknowledged, not even a hello. I got up and just left.
I have been in hospitality for twenty years, including being a manager at Brewery that has collaborated with Flapjack in the past. I really enjoy Flapjack's pizza and beer. They don't offer Ranch dressing with their pizza, which I usually like, but we have been customers for years.
Today we went for dinner, and I noticed they had Ranch on the shelf, but it had a $25 price tag. Surprised, I asked if they were offering it now, and he said only if you buy the bottle. What I don't understand is why go out of your way to be mean spirited to a patron? I never argued or was a jerk about not having Ranch in the past, this felt like it was going out its way to be unwelcoming.
The bartender I was talking to was not hostile, but he sounded shaky when explaining because there is no way to say it without being rude. At the places I've worked in, if we didn't have something a guest wanted, or the kitchen/chef didn't want to make a modification, you just said no. After he explained this to us, I felt so uncomfortable we left and went to the spot across the street. We had a great pizza, warm service, and yes, the sauce I like on my pizza.
Alright, I'm giving 5 stars for two reasons: because the pizza crust is perfect (exactly what you'll find in the north of Italy) and because we were on a time crunch because we needed to be in and out in 30 minutes to catch our train. They told us what to order and we were able to eat one pizza and take the others to go. Thanks for the great service and great pizzas!
This place was meh. I'm a pizza snob and specifically came here for the pizza. The pizza was subpar. The crust was soggy. The tomato sauce tasted fresh and the toppings were great quality as was the cheese, but the crust was just awful. Olives were great as was the cannoli. The cannoli was probably the best thing on the menu. But my lunch was sadly soured. The older gentleman with glasses at the bar was not very knowledgeable with the menu and actually made me feel dumb when I asked for a specific wine (from the menu) by name. He acted like I was speaking a foreign language. I also asked for appetizers from the menu and again, he looked so lost and made a face because he didn't know what I wanted. Olives? Friselle? Hello? I had to show him the pictures of the items I wanted from the menu on my phone so he understood. Annoying much? I also asked for ghost pepper chili flakes and he looked at me like I was stupid, even though the item was on their online menu via the website. This didn't sit right with me because he went off as rude and condescending. I don't expect above and beyond customer service as this is an obvious hole in the wall pizza spot. But I also don't expect to be made to feel uncomfortable when ordering food. Bummer.
