I stopped in for a quick coffee and maybe a breakfast sandwich. There was a couple ahead of me who weren’t quite sure what they wanted, so my “quick stop” turned into a longer wait than expected. Only one lady was behind the counter, taking orders and preparing both drinks and food, which slowed things down a bit.
I wasn’t in a rush, but if you are, this might not be the best place for a fast grab-and-go. That said, she was super kind and accommodating—she made my mocha latte with half the mocha, just how I like it, and it was delicious! I ended up skipping food because I didn’t want to wait longer.
I visited on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised to find live music being performed on stage—it added such a nice atmosphere. The shop connects to a bar through a walkway, and the décor is quirky, laid-back, and fun.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because of the longer wait and the food prep area, which looked a little messy and not as clean as it should be. Still, it’s a unique little coffee shop, and I’d definitely come back when I have more time to relax and enjoy the vibe.

This place lives up to their name. I’ve had probably 3 different 10 minute long conversations with the people that work there. They are all lovely. The patrons are just as nice. I get the Mexican spiced latte and my kids get smoothies. No complaints! We sit and play cards or board games and enjoy the dim atmosphere and chill music. I recommend everyone stops by to get their feel good vibes vibin’ :)

We were looking for a coffee shop after arriving to Midway. We found Friendlys on Google Maps and I'm not sure I've ever seen a business live up to their name more than Friendlys. It was a Saturday and they had a 4 piece band playing on stage. There was a very sweet lady passing out chocolates. The barista introduced himself by name and asked our names. We got to chatting with the regulars in line behind us. The coffee was also very good. This would be one of our go to spots if we lived in the area.

Absolutely love this coffee shop! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming—it really adds to the cozy vibe. The aesthetic is beautiful, super Instagram-worthy, and creates such a relaxing atmosphere. I tried the matcha, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Definitely a new favorite spot!

friendly staff and owner plus a versatile space. you can study with some coffee, go to the meft room and sit at the bar or listen to live music while doing either or!
Loved visiting the Friendly coffee house and playing some games with my friends. Rob, the owner, was super friendly and made us feel welcome as we are out of town visitors! Can’t wait to come back

My family and friends have loved it! The prices are great. Please be patient with the service workers! They are incredibly sweet and juggling many different tasks, but they wont forget about you!!! Such a cozy, community atmosphere :)

Awesome little coffee shop. The service is ultra friendly, almost like visiting my imaginary grandmother (I mean this is in a good way). It’s a sort of mix of a bar, coffee shop and general venue. Coffee is delicious and very well priced. Highly recommend all around. Although I didn’t taste any food, I’m sure it’s fresh too.
