First time here and it was just wonderful. Food was very, very solid. Drinks were unique and flavorful. Service was great.

El menú de La Malquerida es una verdadera fusión de sabores que se disfrutan. Fuimos a brunch y degustamos un trompito al pastor, que es del mejor al pastor que he probado no solo en Chicago sino en México, y un huarache de nopal que tiene la dosis perfecta en su combinación de sabores haciéndolo único, delicioso y saludable. Mención aparte para sus postres, el pan de elote y el flan de coco, ambos con gelato. Felicitaciones al chef Saúl y si quieres buena comida, #YouBetterCallSaul (El de La Malquerida). Tendremos que volver a probar otras cosas de su menú, en especial el aguachile de lengua.

Service was great. Went in for a Sunday brunch. Thinking to spend some time with friends for a little bit and ended up staying till maybe 2-3! Had a great time! Mimosas for $25 was worth it!

Not going to lie, this place caught me by surprise. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Very spacious place with fancy dining tables. Was greeted by a very friendly staff. To start of, I had the guacamole which had their own twist to it and came with chicharron, very flavorful. I then Ordered the tampiquena which comes with a juicy steak, stuffed poblano pepper with cheese and veggies, a mole enchilada (the mole was delicious) and cilantro rice. I have no words to describe the flavors each individual item had other than delicious. One of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever had. For dessert, I had the pistachio cheesecake which was the cherry on the top for the review, 10/10 for the whole experience from the staff to the service to the food. I’m definitely coming back and it’s a must get hidden gem .
Me and my husband came here for his birthday dinner. He's always super hesitant to trying new foods or restaurants and I was so anxious on if he'd enjoy our experience here. He absolutely loved it and wants to come back! Not only was the food different than our typical restaurant choice foods but it was delicious as well. Our waiter was amazing and did an outstanding job on helping me surprise my husband with his birthday dessert plate. Will definitely be coming back.

They are consistently prepared and seasoned to perfection which is why it is our favorite neighborhood place to go. Cocktails are excellent, never skimpy on the alcohol. Always greeted with a friendly smile, and we are always anxious to return.
