Extremely disappointing experience. I visited La Michoacana Classic hoping for a fun treat and some good ice cream, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in a long time. The ice cream itself tasted off — the flavor was strange, and the texture didn’t seem right at all. When we politely mentioned our concern to the staff, instead of listening or offering to fix the issue, they were incredibly rude and dismissive.
They acted like we were bothering them for simply bringing up an honest concern. Rather than apologizing or checking the product, they told us to leave the store. I was honestly stunned by how unprofessional and disrespectful their response was. Mistakes happen, but the way a business handles them says a lot — and this place clearly doesn’t care about its customers.
If you’re looking for good ice cream and friendly service, I would highly recommend going somewhere else. There are plenty of other shops that actually appreciate their customers and take pride in what they serve. Save your time and money — La Michoacana Classic is definitely not worth it.

The ice cream is good. The prices and service are terrible. I REPEAT..TERRIBLE!! How does one work in an ice cream shop and not know what a waffle cone is? Ah...you come here to find out! Elotes have been dry and seem old. Seems the busier the shop is ...the busier they interact with each other in hopes the long line will dissappear. If it's busy they shouldn't be gossiping with one another and taking their time to give you your items..must be why my elotes were missing mayo, they got lost in their conversation. They will over charge you and even if you check they say that's the price when being charged for the same thing prior for a different price. Most employees have a horrible attitude. Service and prices are a terrible issue at this location. Prices should be posted so customers know exactly what they are paying for. They should also consider having employees who can speak proper English. I'm not racist, but, how is it I've never seen anyone work here other than of Hispanic heritage? Makes one wonder 🤔 seems discriminatory. They need to do better!

Came here to get an elote and ended up getting elote that tasted sour also dry and the two workers were giving attitude once i said it was sour and said it wasn’t. also 6$ for an elote when 26th and pulaski has it for 3-4$ fresh and with chicken they need to fix they’re prices if they want to keep up with the real competition. Came for some delicious late night snacks with the family and left with a visit to the doctors the next morning. Ordered ice cream, yogurts, and drinks with the family and soon after those ice creams and yogurts really bubbled our stomachs and had everyone throwing up. Parents smelled the ice cream and yogurt cups and didn’t smell so fresh so we notified the store and the staff was respectful except for the older manager lady who was disrespectful and in denial who said she hadn’t had a complaint about her food and that her food is “ perfect” this picture is for her “perfect food”. Didn’t refund and stood there mocking the situation for my family. Thousands of people watch my reviews and I even screen shot that as well. It is disappointing to see a fan favorite go down the drain! Looked at the reviews with the same issues so it seems like they won’t change. Luckily there are other michoacanas around that offer fresh food and friendly service.

The girl in the kitchen was eating the fruit and as soon as a thin girl came in she looked at me in an uncomfortable way just for bringing my puppy. I apologize if it wasn't allowed but in my defense I had gone to eat before and no one had said anything to me about it today Sunday yes although everything is delicious and at night they are very friendly I wouldn't go again in the morning!

The quality is good, but as an ice cream maker person, I notice they put too much color to ice cream and Popsicles. It seems that it has not been regulated by the state inspector, and they just put as much as they want. It's not good at all because I know this is harming our kids and community. Please, michoacana, do better regulate food colorings.
