I recently had the opportunity to visit Michael Anthony’s on a fall football sunday and so should you. You might want arrive early to secure a seat near the bar and football games or they will be gone. I enjoyed a Michelena with Modelo to start the gameday sunday and ordered the combination platter, both are pictured.
I moved on to the tavern style thin crust pepperoni and onion pizza.
The gameday atmosphere is festive if your a Bears fan, see attached video, which occurs after every touchdown.
I have visited Micheal Anthony’s since it opened in 1984, things have not changed, which is a great thing.
The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful.

I'm calling at 1:35 and leave the phone ring I guess they got annoyed because they picked up the phone and hung up right away I guess they don't want to do orders after 1:30 when I live across the street and I can always pick it up shouldn't be posting that they close at 2:00 a.m. if they don't even want to answer after 1:30
