Overall I thought the beef was solid. I got my beef dipped with a side of giardiniera. The top half of the sandwich to me was dry and lacked flavor so the giardiniera was definitely needed for flavor. The bottom half of the sandwich that was soaked with the juices was much better and full of delicious flavor. Im typically not a fan of fries but the fries were really good. I live out of state and every year we visit back home Chicago and always buy at least 15 lbs. of frozen beef to bring back home and enjoy through out the year, unfortunately this is the end for us, at at 30 bucks a pound i am throwing in the towel. I will miss that

Of course, I made the obligatory side trip for an Italian Beef at Novi's. It did not disappoint! I had mine the way I've had it since I was a little boy, Wet I poured giardinera pour all over it. Of course.I had homemade fries in a root beer but what I wouldn't I!
