This review is solely for the supercharged pizza. Review: get the supercharged pizza. Closest thing you can get to Pequod's outside of Chicago.

Dense crust. Good sauce. It is not “the best pizza in the world”

Went there for the 1st time yesterday and was skeptical at first due to slow service but it turned around. Our server was very nice and apologetic for the slow service but there were only two servers which wasn't his fault. The food was amazing, the portions were generous and the atmosphere was nice. Would definitely go back!

Haven't eaten a pizza so bad that I felt the need to go online and actually write a review - until now. The pizza was an absolute doughy mess. Way too much sauce to the point where taking out any slice led to all the cheese falling off. The sauce had a nice tang but absolutely zero flavor to be found anywhere else. Very comparable to a Little Caesar's pie unfortunately.Would not reccommend.

The pizza sauce is a little on the sweet side so not my overall top choice, but it’s still an above average pie. The service at the restaurant however is top notch. From the greeter to server to food runners, everyone is friendly. Went on a packed Friday night and got a seat right away due to their abundant seating capacity. Would highly recommend

I've waited a while (now upwards of eight months) to write a review for Paisan's - because... well, I HATE writing less-than-5 star reviews about anybody. The competition in the Restaurant market is just too intense, and if I can't speak well about a venue, then I might as well STFU. But in this eight months, I've been there seven times, and the same thing keeps happening, consistently. Let's get some facts out of the way, here: the food is excellent. Not the "best" pizza I've ever had, but very good. Where my gripe begins, is that it wasn't the food I wanted. Entering the restaurant, I'm treated to the menu, which describes the Italian family as "welcoming friends, devoted to good food and the pleasing of people". That made me feel warm and snuggly... until I tried to order my pizza. The first four times I visited, I was informed of these facts: 1. You can't ADD anything to any of their Signature Pizza's. You can HOLD ingredients, but you can't add anything - they refuse to do it. 2. I wanted anchovies on half. I was not requesting fried Tyrannosaurus eggs, just anchovies. 3. Hmmm. "Anchovies on a pizza?" I didn't feel my request was that far out of line. 4. I was man-splained to: he addition of *any* ingredients would upset the finely-calculated profit margins established by the Owners, and was therefore disallowed - even at an upcharge. 5. I "could" order a Custom Pizza, and pay an upcharge for all the individual ingredients on their Signature Pizza, plus anchovies - totaling 45% more than the original Signature Pizza. Hmm. "Fine family food, Italian Heritage." Under Mussolini's rule, I guess. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. The next three times I visited - Anchovies were not even listed on the menu. So at least they had listened to me, the first four times. Two stars for that. In sum: if they don't want my patronage, I will not provide it. As I mentioned, the competition is stiff out there. There are lots of sources for pizza, many of whom are happy to create the pizza that *I* want, versus foisting what the bean-counters determined was profitably-optimal. I gave them six extra chances, just to be a Fair Man - I was unwilling to write them off; they're very convenient to my home. Since that seventh visit, I've trucked down to Nonie's in Woodridge. No, it's not convenient to me in Lisle, but they smile, welcome me, and give me what I want. Yeah, they add an upcharge for the anchovies, that's to be expected. I smile, and thank them. *Their* pizza is top-notch. I apologize for sounding glum. But *I'm* the frappin' Customer!
