Came in today 10/22/25 like I do every week. Placed a pick up order over the phone. Was met by two servers who I’ve never seen before . Being as I PICKED MY ORDER UP I didn’t leave a big tip , but if I sit down inside and order, I always tip generously. Well today After I tipped and handed back the receipt, The two women looked at each other and started insulting me in Spanish. As if my tip wasn’t “good enough “. With all due respect, all you did was hand me a bag from the kitchen. I don’t know how you could be entitled to expect a big tip from that. I understand there’s a lot of entitlement for women servers in 2025, but this was blatant disrespect, They didn’t know that I understand Spanish. Pure ignorance. As someone who comes in once a week, I’m definitely not coming back. I don’t play that racist insulting BS. I understand that it’s BERWYN and many of the residence Here have never left the area in their lives and all they know is BERWYN, But in the real world, you don’t act entitled to receive tips for work you didn’t do. If you don’t like it, get a different job it’s that simple. Definitely not coming back here. There’s way too many restaurants that don’t have female server entitlement That would be happy to take my money. No mas . 👎

***EDIT*** I wrote the above 5 star review 3 years ago. I've been coming here since 2018 I have noticed the past couple of year some prices have gone up, which is expected due to inflation. I have no issues with that. BUT the quality of food has gone down. Sometimes the coffee mugs smell like they were just wiped down with a dirty rag. One day I found a hair in my food, they apologized and did not charge me for that item. I gave it another chance because I really did love this place but today I found hair in my food for the second time and a small green piece of plastic. They again apologized and did not charge me for the contaminated items. The waitress was empathetic about the situation. I'm just sad about my experience and unfortunately won't be returning here :/

Food cooked with flavor and huge portions. I had the gypsy skillet with chocolate chip pancakes. This place cooks with seasoning my friend had the skirt steak skillet and the steak was tender and seasoned I didn't have to put hot sauce or ketchup on my food cause the flavor was there. This will be my new go to breakfast spot

Tbone steak breakfast special. Only good was the eggs. The steak was un-eatable. They only gave me $3 off for the steak. Waitress had to be asked for everything, took a long time to get food. Never again.

The atmosphere is so awesome like family. And the food is big portioned and cooked with love. They have the best French fries I have ever had. I love this place!

My family on Friday evening at 5pm my lil one always orders breakfast and a side of bacon she wasn’t happy with the bacon and sent it back to get sausage instead. When the bill came my bill was $100 no big deal but I was really bothered that I had to pay for the bacon. I asked the server why would I have to pay for the bacon that was horrible she said that the cook said so and what he says goes 🤷🏽♀️

The food is great. But they never have soups ready early. It was 9 a.m., and they only had sweet pea soup, and no, they hadn't run out. The lady on the phone literally asked the cook while on the phone if the other soups were ready. It's completely unacceptable, honestly. Make your cooks come in early, which is what most restaurants do, but there is no reason why soups shouldn't be ready at 9 am. It's absurd
