I've been a customer of Turano's for seven years. I am always happy with their baked goods. I typically get two loaves of their sourdough bread, sliced, every two weeks. My family and I have tried most of their rustic breads, over the years, along with cookies, donuts, croissants, coffee cake, carrot cake, Italian pastries and eclairs. The coffee cake and eclairs are my favorites. The decorated holiday cookies are always fun to get for the kids. Their baked goods are always delicious and fresh. This is a family bakery that was established in Berwyn in the early 1960s and has been in business for over 60 years. I highly recommend the Turano Baking Company.

I have yet to see the place. I hope they have a store there. I have seen some of their vans at 2 truck stops in Beloit, Wi. , but no Turano loaves of bread. I’m driving around the Chicago/Milwaukee areas. If Turano has a store,please let me know. Thanks Steve Petersen(Loyal Follower)

Tailgating people on the highway with a business truck is not a smart move. It makes me question the type of people running the business. If safety laws are ignored on the road, I would not trust the quality or safety of the food they serve. If I witness this behavior again, I will file a police report.
Listen the bread itself and the company are great, but considering the fact that such great company has workers that don’t keep that reputation up is something that should not be allowed. As drivers that are delivering product to stores in which you find people of different races you would expect them to know better and not be throwing snarky and disrespectful comments here and there, being openly racist but trying to play it as something different. that shouldn’t be allowed! America doesn’t have a designated language don’t tell me to speak a certain language just because you’re unfamiliar with mine. My status in this country is none of your business don’t question if I’m allowed to be here or not! Your job and what I believe is expected of you is to deliver your order and make sure you do it on time and in a satisfactory way which is not being done because you’re too busy being disrespectful instead of focusing on making sure your order is correct. if you do not like your job or who you work with or are around with then maybe it’s time to look for another job that meets your expectations instead of sabotaging someone’s business for which they worked hard for. Please seek a therapist and god in order to fix your anger problems and that nasty mindset and behavior you carry around. I don’t believe working around this person is very pleasant and I feel sorry for anyone that works with or around this man because he’s probably making the work area very hostile and uncomfortable. Things I don’t believe are in favor for this company as people tend to quit from jobs often when it comes to being in a workspace that makes you dread going in just knowing that you’ll eventually have to cross paths in order to get your work done. Marco S how about you focus on doing your job and doing in right instead of worrying about other people and giving your opinions that nobody wants or asked for! Other than that love the bread love the bakery always very fresh and tasty whole family loves this companies product☺️

Turano Co makes the buns for McDonalds. This store features pizza slices and bakery goods made with fillers and not fermented starters- with one exception being the olive bread.Walking into this place I had expectations for better sourdough options as that is the bread Mdw in 1700 without fillers.Pizza is tasty and comes cold without napkins. No seating area. Wheelchair may not fit through broken door.Call for orders.
