I've been a customer of Turano's for seven years. I am always happy with their baked goods. I typically get two loaves of their sourdough bread, sliced, every two weeks. My family and I have tried most of their rustic breads, over the years, along with cookies, donuts, croissants, coffee cake, carrot cake, Italian pastries and eclairs. I have yet to see the place. I hope they have a store there. I have seen some of their vans at 2 truck stops in Beloit, Wi. , but no Turano loaves of bread. I’m driving around the Chicago/Milwaukee areas. If Turano has a store,please let me know. Thanks Steve Petersen(Loyal Follower)
Turano Co makes the buns for McDonalds. This store features pizza slices and bakery goods made with fillers and not fermented starters- with one exception being the olive bread.Walking into this place I had expectations for better sourdough options as that is the bread Mdw in 1700 without fillers.Pizza is tasty and comes cold without napkins. No seating area. Wheelchair may not fit through broken door.Call for orders.
