I’ve been ordering from Waldo Cooney’s for years, and it used to be one of my absolute favorite places for pizza. Sadly, my recent experience has completely changed my opinion. Not only was my order made wrong the first time, but when I called to have it corrected, I was assured the mistake would be fixed and that I’d receive a credit for a future order. At first, I appreciated that they seemed willing to make things right but when I went to use that credit, I was told the information was invalid. The employee on the phone insisted there was no record of it, even though I was previously told it was noted under my name. I called again on Friday to try to sort it out, only to be told the same thing that there was “no credit” and nothing they could do. It’s frustrating because I trusted their word. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that, but when a business promises to make something right and then doesn’t follow through, that’s where the real disappointment sets in. The lack of accountability and poor communication have really soured what used to be a reliable, family-friendly pizza spot for me. Waldo Cooney’s used to be my go-to place, but now it feels like the quality of service and customer care has gone downhill. I hate to say it, but this experience left me feeling misled and let down. I hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously, because losing loyal customers over poor follow-up and misinformation shouldn’t be something they overlook.

First visit. Three slices of pizza looked dry so I asked for fresh pizza. I waited about 10 mins. The cashier said the slice was on them. I was grateful. The pizza was delicious except the dough was thick and tough. The dough tasted great with my homemade guacamole. I'll go back again.

I want you to see incompetence in its purest form. I asked for pepperoni on a pizza, but for it to be on top of the cheese. They proceeded to cook the pizza 1st, then place pepperoni on it afterward.

We grew up on Cooney's pizza on Pulaski. My brother just moved to Berwyn amd we're glad to have Waldo Cooney in the area
I was given dry hours old hard pizza slices. There was a nice cheesy big slice he turned it to give me the over cooked hard small one. I expect better from restaurants I don’t like re asking for anything because their job is to give customers good quality food the first time. Guy was nice, I asked for two slices paid and went my way. 1st and last time customer and Never going back yuk

I give 3 stars because I like thin crust pizza. I got a slice just to check it out. The slice wasn't thin enough for me. I took a couple bites and ended up just taking the cheese and sausage off. The sauce was good, so was the sausage. Maybe a whole pizza comes in thin crust..That's my only complaint. Why do most pizza places don't serve thin crust slices?

I reached out on Northern Berwyn FB group about pizza places that deliver tavern style pizza to OP. I had all the usual Salerno's (too pricey) DiNicos (not great) even Bertolli's which is high quality is not my cup of tea ( too thin too sweet) Someone recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Good sausage, good sauce and the wings were pretty legit too.
The staff was amazing. Pizza was delicious.
