The complimentary rye bread (I think it's rye, anyway) reminds me of something my grandma used to make. I only wish I had asked for the recipe. If you’re in Bishops Hill, you definitely need to stop by. And the service? Excellent.

We go to Johnsons every year for a holiday get together. Bishop hill is in the middle of our families, so we meet there every year. The waot staff are all wonderful and very accommodating. The food was very good.
