Today was our first time at Love on the Blu! The food was amazing, specifically the French Toasts. Terrence amplified the service by engaging with us and learning a bit about us and sharing relevant facts about the restaurant. Our server Tre was also pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant. The music can be a bit more soothing.

If you're looking for a standout breakfast spot in Blue Island, Love on the Blu should be at the top of your list. This bright and welcoming location has just the right amount of space to feel lively without being overcrowded, and the ambiance immediately puts you in a good mood.

I ordered the shrimp and grits with catfish, the banana pudding pancakes, and a peach lemonade and every bite (and sip)...

I have been to Love on the Blue twice now and I can say I truly enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful. The first time I stepped into the restaurant I was digging the vibe. Now I will admit that I am a creature of habit so both times I ordered the same thing which was the chicken and waffle. They allow you to get a flavored waffle for a small up-charge, so I got the apple waffle. Obviously I liked it because I got the same thing. Now I have tasted the shrimp...
