The Maple Tree Inn is our favorite go to for special occasions. The staff, the food, everything was top notch..... It was like bringing downtown Chicago to the suburbs!
It was my 70th birthday dinner party and I had 12 guests. The restaurant is very nice and I love the Cajun vibes. The food and service were great, we did not feel rushed. I definitely will be going back.
Food was delicious. However, my catfish portions were thin strips, not sizeable filets. 😔 Our waitress was outstanding! 😊
This Resturant is top tier. Thru have a great vegan menu that includes desert options. The service is always great.
I think it's an excellent experience. From the time you pull into the lot, vallet if you wish. Next the hostesses are courteous and professional. The dining and service is outstanding. We kinda dig the catfish and braised greens along with the corn bread. The salad was shareable and delicious. A couple of drinks a dessert and you won't be disappointed.
Per usual, Emily NEVER disappoints with her creative drink creations. The Peach Cobbler was delicious and the amaretto ice cream was a perfect pairing. Per usual the hickory bbq shrimp and gouda grits were delicious. We tried the broccolini for the first time (it's on the vegan menu) and it was perfect!
Had incredible server. Guided us so well. Food is amazing! Couldn't eat everything we ordered,so am anxious to enjoy as leftovers. Highly recommend.
Maple Tree Inn was an excellent choice to help us celebrate! The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious!!
Food was terrible. Ribs super tough, red beans and rice were this thick, mushy and dry dish that was awful. Greens were super sweet and tart at the same time. We tried almost every dish on menu and the whole table of 11 was in disappointed. I'm a chef so was 3 of the guests with me so we were all lost for words, our expectations were shattered. For the prices food was low quality also, but super pretty restaurant though. They need cooks who really know how to cook New Orleans style food because that wasn't it. They should call Virtue in Hyde Park and ask for their recipes!
The collar greens had to much sodium in them, so they removed them from the bill. The rest of the food was very good

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience at Maple Tree Inn on 9/27. We ordered Pitmaster's Gumbo, Fried Green Tomatoes, Crawfish Etouffee and Burnt Ends. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding as usual. Our waiter, Ozzie, and Morgan were excellent!
We had a very nice dining experience at the restaurant. After years of patronizing their old location in Blue Island, this was our first visit to the new location. We were very pleased that the menu continued to offer some great cajun fare, and it was prepared perfectly.
This was my second visit and like the first another amazing experience. Loved everything from the service to the food.
Appetizers were good the entrees jambalaya , Gumbo, was salty wit no flavor and the redfish was over cooked
