Server was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was just ok & my family and I have patronized MPI quite a bit. My sister had the catfish which at $29, wasn't a good value since the it was really just two filets spilt in half. She sent it back and requested it be cooked well because although it was crispy on the outside, it was pinkish and grossed her out. My wife had the vegan Brussels sprouts which weren't crispy like normal. My cousin had the crab cake and was disappointed in the taste & skimpy size. The skillet cornbread and vegan cornbread were good. My elderly cousin was ok with her etouffee. My catfish was ok but the cream sauce underneath it upset my stomach.

I had a wonderful experience. Our server, Joe, was absolutely amazing and had great recommendations. Enjoyed the Crab Mornay, and my sisters had the oysters. The fried oysters were pretty good, loved the strawberry margarita. I had the bbq shrimp and grits, which is always good!

LOVE this place! Beautiful inside, food was perfect, loved my fancy drink and we always top it off with the yummy beignets and their amazing chicory coffee. Oh and Joe our server was the best!!

Maple Tree Inn is a nice upscale restaurant with a cozy ambiance. A great experience consistent with many others here on HC. Vegan options are unique and made it challenging to select 1.
We had the vegan jalapeño cornbread muffins. They were a nice soft texture, but not exactly what we were looking for as an appetizer. We expected a little more jalapeño flavor and some heat where there was none, & also prefer less sweetness. That's just our preference.
We shared the Vegan Creole Jambalaya and Chargrilled Boil. Both were so delicious we can't pick which we liked best. The jambalaya had a great flavor and was hearty with Impossible Andouille. The boil was very well seasoned with a smooth vegan buttery broth.
This spot will be on our list when we're looking for a nicer dining experience and is well worth the drive!
Entrees are in the mid-$20 range.

Took a chance and had my birthday dinner here without having been before. Totally blown away. Lots of thoughtful, delicious vegan items on their own menu and the service was outstanding. My favorites were the cornbread muffins and the jambalaya with their own Andouille sausage made with impossible meat. It was worth the drive out here.

I just need to say that I’m pissed I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. Wow. I’m vegan and they have an entire separate vegan menu ✅ I had the vegan cornbread muffins and the…. Vegan creole jambalaya……. My God today. I was and still am blown away. It was so delicious. I’m mourning the leftovers I just finished but I was just reminded of how close this place is to me and I’ll be there at least twice a week. Thank you.

You definitely need to have a reservation for this spot. The staff is very friendly though and the place was very clean. We didn't even get to eat there because we were just going and never been, so that's how we found out about needing a reservation.....Hot Commodity

Had a great experience at this place! The service was wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised that the serving staff spoke Spanish too. Really good variety of cocktails and drinks. The menu is small but the dishes are really hearty with good portions. While a bit more on the expensive side, the quality of the food is really good. The cornbread was amazing, and one 8-inch skillet was enough for our group of seven. The only dish that was missing something is the trout, which lacked a bold flavor. Otherwise everything was very yummy and I would recommend visiting!

Last night I had reservations for 8:30 pm. AND I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED RACISM BEFORE TIL YESTERDAY !! AS WE WERE SITTED AND WAITED FOR SOMEONE TO COME TO OUR TABLE FOR NEARLY 20 MINS OUR WAITER WHO GOES BY THE NAME OF ADAM! NEVER CAME BY ONCE AND AFTER I ASK ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TO GO GET HIM HE TOLD HIM “THEY CAN WAIT”.. BUT SEE HERES WERE THINGS TURN LEFT!, HE WASNT AWARE THAT I HEARD HIM SAY IT, SO AFTER I APPROACHED HIM HE BEGIN TO GET RUDE AND ASKED IF WE JUST WANTED ANOTHER WAITER, NO APOLOGIES OR NOTHING, THAN I ASKED FOR A MANGER SHE CAME AND DIDNT APOLOGIZE EITHER! ALL SHE ASKD WAS DID WE WANT ANOTHER WAITER, SO I ASKED HER “WHAT WAS OUR WAITER NAME TO BE SURE ?” AND THATS WHEN ADAM WALKS UP TO MY TABLE AS IF HE WANTED TO FIGHT ME … I LITERALLY HAD TO TELL THIS MAN TO BACK UP AND GIVE ME MY PERSONAL SPACE!..
