This was my first time at the restaurant and my experience was excellent. We were there for my daughter's 21st birthday and we originally had 2 tables but they were able to combine them at the last minute. And despite such a large party, the service was exceptional. Special shout-out to the manager and Joe, our waiter, plus all of the staff for being so accommodating and hospitable. Will definitely be back.
Looking for a downtown, Louisiana experience right in your backyard, then this is the place! The service is excellent! The food is excellent! The vibe is excellent! You will have to visit more than once just to experience everything on the menu. Oh and the drinks, well you know, excellent!

A little disappointed by the prices of the food. The food was good but it was not worth the price. They were charging $15 for one scallop saying it was the freshest seafood. Well you could by a bag of Sea scallops for the same price frozen and get more and bigger. Whatever you do, do not order the fried alligator cheesecake. That was a waste.

I purchased three meals today and spent $94 on it, but I got home to start eating. My food looked like we ate at the restaurant. The catfish fillets were cut into stripes, and the fried chicken thighs could have been presented better, and my vegan dish was not all that.I guess next time I will eat inside and not order to go. Good taste all around, but not happy.

Hidden gem!? I really enjoyed this restaurant. The ambiance was nice.. it was dimly lit, had crystal chandeliers, and candles? on the tables. The food options were plentiful, for both appetizers and entrées. My drink of choice was the current special, the Mojave Moon?. It gave me the feel of nighttime New Orleans: humid, hot, and enticing✨️ For our appetizers, we ordered the fried oysters and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were delicious ? I would have preferred the oysters to come in-shell. For dinner, I ordered the blackened redfish étouffée with braised greens on top. It was superb?? The best part was the fresh, hot beignets we got for dessert!? I was ready to book a trip to New Orleans as soon as I took my first bite of them! My only wish is that, as this is a Lousiana Cajun restaurant, if there was jazz music ?? being played. It would have really put us in the feel of "old-style New Orleans." Our server, Joseph, was excellent and deserves a special shout-out ?? this is definitely a great choice for a night out with good drinks and great food??☺️

The maple tree is a restaurant that offers delicious food and a cozy interior at an affordable price. I had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday with my loved ones this year. Despite the servers being quite busy, they managed to provide excellent service. However, I would suggest improving the brisket dish by adding more protein to the grits to make it more filling and satisfying.
Some of the best Cajun food by far. Always consistent and very different from the wannabes. This is our weekend spot.
