They were closing one Sunday and I had called about 5 places after I decided I wanted to try Menudo for this first time ever. Next time I am going to try their tacos. I took the menudo to go and didn't get to dine in.

Very good authentic Mexican food nested in the old downtown section of Blue Island. Plenty of chips and Salsa with just the right spicy kick. Beef Tacos and Potsto Enchalada with guacamole is excellent. $4.50 virgin Pina Colada was outstanding !!

Mario’s Tacos has been here for decades. Simple sit down restaurant with good outdoor dining area. Fine place far a family to bring younger kids. This place is Not fancy but better than fast food , margaritas are decent.
