We had a caramel cake made, the caramel itself was delicious (you could tell it was made from sugar), because some places their caramel tastes like butterscotch, but Pierre's caramel tastes like homemade caramel. It's the cake itself that was not a hit. The cake was dense, no fluffy at all. Maybe they should have just made it 2 layers as opposed to the 4 layers.

I purchased a birthday cake for my daughter birthday. Pierre's is always my first choice as there cakes are always delicious. I was slightly disappointed as the beautiful cake was a bit dry.
They make delicious cakes and I love rum. I recommend them.

The cake was beautiful and my son was so excited… well it would have been nice if it was beautiful and well put together this two tier cake fell apart literally. This was my first time at this bakery and this cake was $240. Only thing that was offered to me was a 8 in strawberry shortcake so that we could still sing happy birthday to my son but guess what same thing happened to that cake. I called and emailed with no response. My son’s 5th birthday was ruined and I wasn’t even given a partial refund or even a sorry it was blamed on me due to transport I held cakes during travel and there was no issue whatsoever! I’ve never ever had this issue with calumet bakery! The cake I did taste was dry and nasty! They will never get my service again!

Very nice bakery for strawberry cakes.. Today I bought a couple of slices of carrot cake that were too greasy.. Too much oil was used to bake that cake.. Comment later on the strawberry filled cake. Cashier has attitude problems because I told her I dont use my bank card to tap..SMH..
