The grilled Mahi-mahi here is awesome; I would highly recommend it. Sorry I can't speak for any other dishes, but once I find something I like I tend to stick with it, unless it changes. The only reason I haven't been there lately is that I moved out of the area for personal reasons and don't get back that way much. I do highly recommend it though.

Sigh. I am also heartbroken. It never dawned on me that they would close. Visiting Evanston next week, and it was always a must do. Especially since I now live in a landlocked city with very few seafood options.
So many memories besides the catfish platter and Harold's wonderful gumbo. The fish market allowed me to experiment. During a period when I lived with a friend and roommate who has a fierce seafood allergy which made cooking it at home impossible, they allowed me to pick out fish and would cook it for me in various fashions. You can't buy that type of service.
My son was looking forward to taking his sons to the same aquarium that enthralled him for years, and was the place that he could impress dates.
