We were on an adventure and happened upon this place. It was spotless clean, service was great and the food was excellent! It may be 5 miles north of I72 but it is definitely worth the drive.
My dad and I were passing through Bluffs, IL today and saw the quaint little diner, Placke's. We decided to stop and try their food. Not only was the food delicious but the people were friendly and the atmosphere was great! We decided we MUST return soon to enjoy some more of their yummy food.
Hidden in the small town of bluff IL was a tremendous surprise. Great food super clean and home like sit down restaurant.Pork tenderloin was spiced perfectly. Sweet potatoe fries done to golden brown and lightly salted.I will find a way to get back here.
