i normally don’t complain, i understand restaurant staff goes through a lot in their day to day shifts but the service at this restaurant was terrible. i’ve been to bon chon downtown and the food was delicious, a little packed but the food came out fast, our server was great and quick and everything was good.me and my boyfriend decided to enjoy a nice dinner out and came to the bolingbrook location. when we got there we were greeted and taken to a table in the middle of the restaurant by the hostess, we asked (and politely) if it would be possible to move to a booth seeing as 2 were empty (also a half-booth half chair section) and the hostess told us that “the booth was cracked” and that was it. we then sat down, we also asked the waiter if it isn’t a hassle to move to a more private table along the wall and he said no he couldn’t and then me and my boyfriend were just like “oh okay.” he took our orders and then we received our drinks, i ordered a coke and a water. my boyfriend just ordered a glass of water, and we were very surprised to see there was lint and specks of something in the glasses. i didn’t feel comfortable drinking out of the glass so i drank from my can. our fries came out first before anything else, even though we had ordered an appetizer and then the hostess sat another party down… at the booth that was cracked.overall just disappointed with the experience and lack of customer service and won’t be returning here.

Place looks small from the outside but it’s pretty big once on the inside. Food is delicious. The chicken is fried to perfection. The Korean Bbq and the spicy sauce are a must when getting the chicken. The service was good, I believe they were busy they only had two waiters. And a pretty sweet robot waiter??. Overall I willl definitely be stopping by again.

I had the best fried rice I ever had. It had very tender steak in it. It was topped with fresh cucumber. I will never want fried rice without fresh cucumber after trying it. The person I ate with got the fried chicken with a sauce on it and they liked their dish also. The place is located at the Bolingbrook Promenade with parking close by. Everything was clean and the service was exceptional.

Cute and clean place, the staff was all very nice and the food was delicious. The tacos were full to the brim, and the boneless wings were so flavorful and crisp. My personal favorite was the garlic wings, sweet and savory, the perfect balance. They even have a cute robot that brings food to the table!

Bonchon was delicious! Despite how busy it was, our food came out in a timely manner and everything was very fresh. Compared to other Korean fried chicken I’ve tried, this was especially crispy and the sauces were very flavorful. We also tried the bibimbap, pork buns, and japchae (which was our personal favorite dish). The servers were super kind and attentive, and they worked fast to bus tables and keep the space very clean. I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful experience at Bonchon restaurant on 3.9.24. The food tasted amazing. We ordered regular fries, seasoned fries, onion rings,combo of drums and wings, small boneless wings and half and half boneless wings. All the servers were bright and smiling. The robo servers makes it fun to watch. Chicken was soft and crispy, seasoned fries and regular fries were crunchy and delicious. Portion size for small itself was more.Soy garlic sauce tasted bit salty if they fix that it would be great. We even tried their Ramune strawberry soda tasted yummy. Must try place and definitely will visit them again and highly recommend to everyone. A big shout-out to our server Antonio, he took really good care of us with his bright smiling face.Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy their Robo server.

He also recommended the pork buns which were to die for!! Refilled drinks without us having to ask. Food 5* - omg... The pok belly buns are a MUST have. The texture of the bun is soft and delicious. I was nervous about the pork belly texture coz of the fat but it had a great fried texture. The sauce was super yum. And the wings... The crispiness of the skin was amazing. And their sauces were so flavorful. The soy garlic sauce was bomb. Order the yum yum sauce if you like spicy. Equally delicious. They bring out the chicken with a cubed picked radish side. Nice pairing with the sweet and spicy sauces. You must eat the chicken with white rice! Takes it to another level. We will be back! Other: lots of mall parking.

I got the Korean bbq it was just ok, my sister got ginger soy...it was PHENOMENAL!!! Needless to say I ordered the soy ginger and took the other home lol. The kimchi was spicy and very tasty. The chicken was very crunchy and juicy. My mother ordered the bulgogi to me it had no flavor that's why I gave it 4 stars it had a lot of meat onions and everything else under the sun including the extra grease and the grease flavor.
