Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest....read full review

Cebu Lechon House & New Chinese Kitchen offers a delightful fusion of Filipino and Chinese cuisine that truly works. The restaurant is known for its famous Cebu Lechon, which features crispy skin and juicy, fragrant meat flavored with lemongrass and spices. It is prepared Cebu style without shortcuts and is highly recommended, especially when ordered in advance. The menu also includes other standout dishes such as Crispy Pata with perfectly crackled skin and tender meat, Aristocrat Chicken glazed with a sweet-savory sauce and grilled to perfection, Grilled Tuna Panga that is smoky, meaty, and fresh with a delicious char, and hearty Beef Pares with a rich broth full of depth. The flavors across the dishes are bold yet balanced, with generous portions that showcase respect for both culinary traditions rather than random mixing.
While primarily a takeout spot, the place offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for dine-in. Service is friendly and attentive, making guests feel truly welcomed. Some reviews note that ordering early is advisable to avoid wait times and to enjoy the lechon at its best. The food quality is consistently praised as rich, flavorful, and authentic, with items like salt and pepper shrimp and egg rolls also receiving positive remarks. Despite minor issues like the crispy pata losing crispiness during takeout or the absence of rice and fortune cookies, overall, the experience is highly satisfying. Customers find the prices good, portions large, and the food delicious, making Cebu Lechon House & New Chinese Kitchen a highly recommended destination for anyone craving genuine Filipino comfort food complemented by excellent Chinese dishes.
