First time here and we took our 5 yr old grandson. We all enjoyed the atmosphere. Our grandson enjoyed the view of planes and the aquarium inside.The service was amazing and cheerful and did not rush you. Food came fairly quick and very hot. Garbage skillet was excellent and Ruben sandwich was also very good. Grandson enjoy the Mickey Mouse pancakes. We will definitely come back and would like to sit outside when it’s warmer. We met friends here for breakfast with our young kids. They loved watching the airplanes tale off and land. There were not many since this is a small airport but they love it. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was good for diner food. I recommend Charlie's. Small airport restaurants are a great atmosphere.

Food was good. I had BLT and it was "lite" on the sandwich but plenty of fries. Hubby had Reuben which was good. Son had burger which he said was good. Fun sitting by windows and watching small planes take off and land. Will come again. They have big breakfast menu which we will try next time.

The service was good, but the food was HORRIBLY DISGUSTING ??I ordered the meat skillet with pancakes... The meat was old, the potatoes weren't fresh, the eggs had a really weird taste, and it was overall just disgusting! It was early in the day so that food must have been from the day before or something! The bill was nearly $30 for two pancakes,a waffle, a glass of OJ and some corned beef hash! Not worth it! The landing strip watching the planes was nice! Will not be returning!

This place is at the Clow airport in Bolingbrook- just off Weber road- would never know it's here. Parking easy just outside in the lot. From the large dining room windows the airstrip is clearly visible- planes and helicopters landing and taking off. The vibe is retro diner-quaint but maybe update the plastic table cloths or just update the pattern a bit. The chili and soup are great-Patty melt also very good- fries are fresh and crispy. The grilled cheese with ham was delicious but there are only 2 slices of ham for $8.99- the sandwich looks a bit sad and flat- maybe 1-2 more slices of ham. Portions are moderate- you will be full but not stuffed. Service was excellent- fast and friendly. After the meal you can walk down the airstrip to look at some planes on display. There is a museum that is open Sat and Sun- we did not go into museum
