It has been many years since I ate Checkers. I was not disappointed, but not get the wow factor. I guess we have to be happy with a steady performing restaurant because so many are bad. It may be a while before I go back as it is not bad and I will return.

If I could do a negative star review I would. Terrible customer service overnight . I came 9/18 at 12 am to get our dinner and the two employees both were African American and the one in the window was bigger with little hair then the one on the line and I was adding something to my order and they said “Oh my god are you serious” “is that all now” I told her just to cancel it and they said “okay great GOODBYE” . Very unprofessional and honestly unsafe because you never know what someone is going through I could’ve snapped and did something to the whole building with them inside . You have to treat others the way you want to be treated !

The food was bad, the service was worse, they double charged my card which I didn't realize until after we left Chicago. Not sure how this place stays in business, but I should have trusted the reviews!

I would’ve did no stars but I couldn’t this checkers is the worse normally when I go there’s only 2 workers today there was 3 and they were extra slow,I asked for my sandwich with mayo and tomatoes only the manager made a gesture like we don’t give out tomatoes which this is how I always get it but I guess today she was having a bad day,so no tomatoes and she charged me for mayo I get my order no mayo and it’s dry as dirt I was going to call but decided not to be as petty as she was,they have no customer training,I don’t even mind the slowness (to a degree) but the rudeness is very unprofessional I’ll never go back

Checker's has always been my favorite fast food restaurant. If there was ever a fast food war as talked about in Demolition Man, I would want Checker's to destroy Taco Bell. Nothing beats their fries and shakes and their burgers are 2nd to none!

Came here during my lunch break for work. It was pretty busy, it was right at dinner time. My order did take a little longer than usual but it was VERY good. The poor lady was literally running across the parking lot to hand off these orders. I can tell she's working as hard as she can, yall need to give her a raise. Very tasty food though, I do recommend this location!
