Great food . There were no free refills. Place was very small. The guy on the register felt like he didn't want to be there. The bathroom was very dirty. The price was expensive, especially since the fries and burger were kind of small.

I order checkers on 1-14-2025 from door dash and my food got cancelled I want to know why I'm not ordering here anymore I remember one coworker made a a face like are you serious I was with my mom younger brother and my mom had a coupon

Honestly It was so good it made me cry. Checkers was my favorite restaurant as a kid. Mom and dad used to take me all the time while growing up in Florida. We moved north and I've searched for over 15 yrs for checkers! As my bf is visiting his family here in Chicago I see this checkers! My mom passed couple months ago and my dad passed a 4 years ago. After that first bite, it took me right back to that lil girl all over again with both her parents still here. I litterally cried. It's just as I remembered. You can't beat the prices either! All other fastfood prices are through the roof but they stayed pretty decent. Best fries in existence! I'm so grateful for this experience!

I ordered a big Buford combo around 120am on a Saturday night going into Sunday because this is one of the only places open late in the area. I received fries that were actually up to standard and hot when I received them. However the burger was absolute trash, a combo that should come as a double patty I received only one that was stone cold, so cold that the cheese never melted and it looked like someone had already taken a bite out of the patty. So 13$ later and all I got for it was a flat soda and some fries. I’ve ordered from this location many of times and this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue yet like I said for the area if you’re going to be one of the only food locations open late, I would expect you to be able to accommodate orders like this one when you’re slated to be open between 2-3 am every night.

There is a person who works inside the restaurant who wears glasses and has a beard and works at night time. There is a person that he is disrespectful, polite and lacks respect to the extent that he insulted some customers. When I wanted to take my food, he spoke to me in an inappropriate manner and said words that are not told to the customers. I wish the officials of this restaurant to get rid of this disrespectful person, otherwise I wish the customers not to go to such irresponsible restaurants because dealing with customers is respectful. I hope that one of the officials will read my comment, and if someone wants to meet me and tell him from the person who spoiled in the restaurant and tell him everything that happened between us

It's one of the only dine-in places for checkers left. It's a little bit of distance for us to drive, but we make the drive at least every other week.
