Fry the Coop (Bolingbrook)

Huge fan of Nashville hot chicken. Of the three chains that I think of in Chicagoland (Fry the Coop, Budlong, Dave’s), Fry the Coop is far and away my go-to favorite. If you actually like hot, this one doesn’t lie. The Crazy (one step below Insanity) is enough for me. I recommend this place to everyone who loves hot food with flavor.

I’m so happy this location is closer to me! I used to go to the Oak Lawn location back in the day, then Darian and now I can come here which is much closer to me. The food never disappoints! I’ve tried the tenders and the chicken sandwiches and am a regular and it always hits the spot!

First time customer. Ordered the three piece tender dinner with seasoned fries and small coleslaw. Tenders were super large, hot and very juicy; obviously very fresh and made to order. Fries were excellent also. Coop sauce is great. Coleslaw is meh! Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Well, I've used online ordering and takeout two more times. Each time as excellent as the first. Highly recommended. (Adding celery seeds to the coleslaw gives it is kick!) Each time the place was reasonably full of customers, some families with kids. All seemed to be enjoying their food and time.

I'm a regular now. Staff is very attentive and helpful.

Every experience is the same, excellent service and excellent food. Highly recommended. Giant portions, freshly prepared, moist and juicy and great flavor. And yes, the coleslaw recipe was changed and is excellent!

I love the vibe and they play great music at just the right volume. The decoration are great and each Fry the coup looks different than the last it awesome! And the good omg the food 🤤 so fricking good man 10/10 recommend. The Nashville chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!! The slaw and coop sauce make a perfect combo!

First time visiting, as I was ordering the cashier walked away without saying anything, she could have ask/told me for a sec instead of walking off on me. Chicken and seasoned fries was good, not salty.
