If you’re from the area then you know the food hasn’t been the same since 2013. They don’t have shrimp egg rolls anymore. NOTHING tastes the same. This use to be the best Chinese spot in Bolingbrook. I wasted $40 after not eating here in years. I had a tastes for Chinese and thought of This place. Never again. Bring back the old cook please.

We have recently started ordering from this resturant and we are very big fans! Crab Rangoons 5/5 Spring Rolls 5/5 Sweet and Sour Chicken 5/5 Fried Rice 4/5 (fried rice is my favorite so 5/5 is difficult to get lol)

I have ordered from Golden Gate many times, the food is always good. The last 2 times the service was aweful. I ordered online today, I was given a delivery estimate of 5:49p for an order placed at 5p. Not a problem. I had to call 3 times to see if my food was actually coming, 1 of those calls, the woman was short with me and hung up before giving me a new arrival time. I finally got my food at 7p. A little rediculous, I should have cancelled but we were very hungry and looking forward to Chinese. The time before today they were about 30 minutes late, I wrote that off as an off day. I guess I was wrong, this time was more than double that. I will not be ordering from Golden Gate again. The food was good but only luke warm at best. Luckily Chinese micros well!!

This is a true hole-in-the-wall joint. It's not a sit down place, it's not the cleanest waiting room, but the food is what you expect to get from a chinese food place and they are very accommodatable for special orders and catering needs.
