I have ordered from Golden Gate many times, the food is always good. The last 2 times the service was aweful. I ordered online today, I was given a delivery estimate of 5:49p for an order placed at 5p. Not a problem. I had to call 3 times to see if my food was actually coming, 1 of those calls, the woman was short with me and hung up before giving me a new arrival time. I finally got my food at 7p. A little rediculous, I should have cancelled but we were very hungry and looking forward to Chinese. The time before today they were about 30 minutes late, I wrote that off as an off day. I guess I was wrong, this time was more than double that. I will not be ordering from Golden Gate again. The food was good but only luke warm at best. Luckily Chinese micros well!!

This is a true hole-in-the-wall joint. It's not a sit down place, it's not the cleanest waiting room, but the food is what you expect to get from a chinese food place and they are very accommodatable for special orders and catering needs.

I waited another 20 minutes, then decided at this point I will call 1 more time and either get an answer or cancel the order, this time she said "food on way" and before she could hang up, I yelled, "how long", she said about 2 minutes, in about another 5 it showed up. This is the 2nd time now in a row that they have been later than estimated, the first was about 30 minutes, this time was over 2 hours. I will not be ordering from them again!!

Don't bother. Food tastes like dung and they won't deliver if it's under $50. Go elsewhere, the communist idiots don't deserve your money!

Egg drop soup was just water and eggs with no flavor. Had to add chicken bouillon cubes to make it taste right. Had the kung pao chicken dinner special came with chicken fried rice and picked the egg roll. Oh it came with a soda too. Kung pao chicken want too bad and the chicken wasn't dry. Had a good kick. The chicken fried rice wasn't too bad, but it was a bit overcooked soft. The portion was actually enough for me and my husband to share.

Ridiculously small portion sizes. I ordered a Mongolian beef dinner special with shrimp fried rice. About 16 bucks (there's a $2 up charge for shrimp in the rice). The price would've been fine if the portion size of Mongolian beef wasn't so small that I wasn't even close to being full. Probably 10 or so small pieces of beef - they spread a thin layer of the beef and veggies across the container. Taste was pretty good - 6 or 7 out of 10 l. But I wont go back. This is literally the smallest amount of food I've ever received for a Chinese dinner special or even a lunch special for that matter lol.Egg roll was thin with not much filling - mainly crust.
